Midoryia:
Deku spends a lot of time writing notes on top of notes, he sometimes gets distracted by his own thoughts and ends up staring at a wall for five minutes in deep thought, he'll snap out of it and have to re read his notes to keep his mind on track,
He will have many tatted and worn out notebooks that he has spent more time organising than actually studying, Unfortunately if its not study work for hero work (Like maths, english or japanese) its often left neglected.
He definitely gets burn out from putting all his mental effort into his favourite subjects and then to crash and get frustrated at any of the subjects he actually should be improving in. :(
He's a big fan of exchanging note books with his classmates, he'll write down and analyse what and how his classmates have taken notes and write them into his, he'll also write sticky notes into their pages of things he's noticed are important or things they have missed in their own notes!
Surprising to some of the dorm Bakugou actually does study, He isn't one to write out notes in notebooks like Deku, not to say that he doesn't have the two or three notebooks for classes, but he's most likely to print out and take photos of textbooks and handouts and high light and annotate.
He reads all the information without taking notes or analyzing and then will go through a second pass with a single colour highlighter, underlining and writing out post it notes with notes and little cornered pages with information and notes he might read over later.
Bakugou always studies alone, and if on the small exception he's not, the others are studying in silence next to him, there's no exchanging of notes (Why would he help the competition, right!?) or study talk of helping each other remember notes, its mostly to make sure the other person and him are keeping each other silently accountable for studying and staying on track, - Denki tried studying with Bakugou for this reason, but he started asking too many questions and Bakugou forcibly removed him from his room.
Shoto has only ever been extremely good at independent study and note taking quickly and efficiently, after all his older brother is studying at University and both his older brother and sister have passed on years of study tips and their old notes to Shoto.
So He has two well kept notebooks, one notebook for messy notes and reminders, he mostly uses as a catch all for anything he needs to write down for later, it has neatly folded papers of handouts and photos of whiteboard notes he has taken, and post it notes scribbled here and there.
The other note book is a cleaner polished re write of all his notes that he uses for revision and study, its also divided into class subjects and he has a few different highlighters so he's colour coded his subjects but nothing too in-depth like how Midoriya does.
He doesn't mind studying in groups but he's not one to overly discuss topics or notes, he has been known to join conversation before but he's been taught that study should be silent and productive to not disturb train of thought.
He'll totally have cute and expensive stationary, but all of his stationary and school supplies are super minimalistic, - mostly has a whole pencil case of stationary but only shows up to class with one really nice pen or mechanical pencil and nothing else.
(I used this system in my final year of Highschool and it worked wonders for me because i was writing notes in class and then for homework re writing them out nicer into a study revision book and i was reviewing notes twice and honestly i love this because then all my study notes got passed down to my siblings who are now studying and they are added their own notes to the books!!) -admin quartz
