Your face is flushed purple from all that running, but a toothy grin spreads across that as you see who opened the door. You’re still gasping slightly, but your fins perk up when you see the grumpy face behind the door. When you speak, your voice is breathy.

"Lack! It’s so good to see you!"

You blink once. Twice.

Wait. Wait. Wait what the fuck. You thinking pan has no time to process how and when and why, but your body has and suddenly you’re hugging her tightly. You probably look like a fucking grub but you don’t care, you even nuzzle her even if it hurt your neck thanks to your horns being in the way. Actually, you weren’t in the troll level, you probably look like an animal. And to top it you currently had no way to talk to her besides the small happy noises on the back of your throat. 

You’ll look for your device later.

You're actually tempted to scoop him up, though that'd probably make him all miffy and you don't want to make him mad after you'd just gotten there.

You came back. It was hard and long, the journey inland, but it was oh so very worth it. Your nose was wrinkled slightly against the wind in your face as you ran. It was a long way to Lack’s house, and you had to make it there before the sun rose. Well, at least that was preferable, though you did have some sunwalking clothes that would serve you for at least a little while. You just didn’t want to have to stop and put them on. Oh well, at least you knew your way.

After a good, long stint of sprinting, you finally arrive at that familiar door and raise your fist to knock.

Did something fell ? You are sure you just heard something in the distance. That’s odd, everyone in your hive as been rather quiet lately. Which you’re more than thankful since you could finally take naps and sleep. As you were doing right now, even if it was a light sleep. Is not like you really would be able to have any actual rest while being in this place. 

Wait. Wasn’t that a knock? Was it? You hope no one was trying to mess with you because you didn’t had time for that. You just stand and stretch, making your way downstairs, still with a hot mess as an excuse for hair and disheveled ‘pj’. Too lazy to even look decent. You just slam open the door, frown decorating your face.

You look to the source of the voice. You calm down a little, he doesn’t look like too much of a threat. You stand up and dust yourself off a little. “He-hello”

Alright so they weren’t broken…then upset? Well.. they were in a puddle mess in the middle of the street.  You still find it a little odd but whatever, its understandable. You stand up and stretch a little before walking over to them.

"Who are you by the way?"

"M-my name is Ursula. I-I think... Yes, that's it. My name is Ursula."

You feel yourself start working again. It felt like only a flicker and a blink since you had accidentally deactivated. Or, well, you believed it was an accident. Was it an accident? You’re sure it was an accident. You wouldn’t have done it on purpose, right?

With a soft click and a muffled whir, you open your eyes. This place was… unfamiliar to you. You sit bolt upright, whipping your head around to get a feel of where you are. A soft, whirring cry escapes you.

Oh. You sit up, passing a hand through your hair to move it back and away from your face. Why were they crying…? You wonder if there was something wrong with them or if it was…emotional?

"Hey there?" You say with your voice still a little drowsy from the sleeping.

You are just walking around the street, heading back home from a late night coffee run, when it starts to fucking rain. Isn’t that great? Just what you needed, obviously. You sigh loudly and put your hood over your head, trying to cover yourself as much as you could from the rain, even if it make it a bit harder to walk.

You cuss to yourself, and wonder why the fuck you thought it was somehow smart to get out at the middle of the night just for some coffee. Seriously why wou-… When you turn around the corner you trip and almost fall, great. Glaring down at the floor you notice that the thing was a leg? What the fuck… You kneel down, putting your bag on the floor and notice it was a human? No wait, it was an android. You pick them up and stand, leaving your bag behind.

After a long, way more bothersome walk you finally get back to your house. Once in, you kick the door close and move over to your work pace, putting them down and checking them. They didn’t seem to fucked up, luckily.  You sigh when you’re done with them, and move back to take a nap on the couch. If they wake up- or whatever- you should notice it.

You shrug your shoulder, honestly you prefer being outside when it was morning and sunny. But you guess a highblood wouldn’t be able to stand the sun. “Yeah… sure, fine”

You smile slightly. "You can sit outside in the morning when I'm asleep, alright?"

"You don’t have to stay outside if you don’t want. I just…sort of feel safer? I guess?” Well that sounds more stupid when you actually say it. You hope she doesn’t take your word for it- you didn’t want to be alone. But you guess not everyone can stay out when it gets morning.

"NO- I mean. I can’t go there. Not now." You avoid telling her exactly why you can’t go there or because of whom. You pull back from the hug. “Can’t we just, walk or something? I like being out”
