Megs ❤ He’s very sweet, and just. Look at his gigantic anime eyes. He has black dots under his eyes and it makes them look so much bigger from the right angle.
I think he’s starting to marble too, he’s gotten a few more blue scales…
My wilds have seriously captured my heart.
Currently rescaping my large tank, moving a bunch of fish out of it so that my wilds can have all the space they need. Completely planted tank with sand/stratum substrate. ♡
Can’t wait to get them in it and watch them really flourish.

hey I keep seeing these “2017 Tumblr” compilation posts and it seems like everyone is deliberately leaving out the part where we all thought the author of My Immortal was finally found and that she was a Native American lesbian author who wrote the fanfic as part joke and part desperate attempt to find her long lost brother while she was in high school and that she was going to publish a memoir in 2018 and Buzzfeed covered it and everything but then some people, one who was supposedly her aformentioned brother, on fucking Kiwifarms of all things, started poking holes in her story and then she deleted and dropped off the face of the earth. because it seems like everyone is trying to pretend like it never happened but it happened.
the year is almost over and I’m not letting anyone forget about this.

I started taking pictures of the Guppies. It’s easier to take them when I separate the fish, the pictures turned out nice!

honestly ive now had both cats and fish and im 99% positive fish are more work than cats. i just don’t understand where this myth that like. fish are just SUPER EASY and HARDLY ANY WORK and GREAT FOR PEOPLE WHO DON’T WANT TO ACTUALLY DO ANY WORK TO TAKE CARE OF THEIR PETS comes from.
I’ve spent $200+ on my fish tank, for just my betta tank. I don’t know why the myth about easy fish care is a thing
It’s crazy what people don’t know about fish keeping. One time I told a guy that the easiest way to do a water change was to use a siphon, because it gets all the junk out of the substrate. Up until then he’d been scooping water out with a cup. So I showed him the siphon and he said (referring to the nozzle of the siphon) “but this won’t reach all the way down. I’ll get wet!” And I was like “dude you own a box of water yeah you’ll get wet sometimes.”
