So for a few months now I've been redrawing Leyendecker drawings as the Mercs to practice my rendering a little. I haven't had the motivation to finish although I only have one and a half left. I'm posting these to see if I get my motivation back :P

Some headcannons:

Heavy

Unsure if his intentions are welcome so it’s all very innocent in the beginning

He’d become more bold as he gets more drunk, touching medics arm, then shoulder, then an arm around him until he’s just straight up holding him

He’d be talking out loud a lot. No inside voice. As he gets more intoxicated it becomes more slurred and he ends up just giving up on English all together

He’s so down to clown if he’s given the chance

A little rougher in his touch than he would be sober, but medic kinda likes being manhandled so it’s all good

Medic

Medic has been flirting with heavy since the week after they met

All inhibitions are out the window when he gets drunk. He’s touching, laughing at lame jokes, making eye contact

In the end he decides on the direct approach since heavy isn’t getting any of it (he is, but he’s too afraid of reading medics signals wrong and ruining their friendship to make the first move)

Medic pulls heavy into a privet room to make out and then throws up and passes out

They talk about it the next day and start dating

this is uhhh just me ranting a bit BUT actually it pains me how miss pauling is often protayed as a- like a nagging bitch? like NO thats a stressed, overworked woman in desperate need of a break!!! like did yall hear the various calls she has? she has hobbies, the way she interacts with the mercs!! its so fun!! </3 uueueueue.... hhhhhh

idk man it just always rubs me the wrong way- sure she probably got a short fuse but lets be so fucking fr we all would if we worked 24/7, 365- and also the mercs you deal with have the potential to blow up their base bi-weekly 😭
