Explanation for Poll:

Due to how much octoling's hair-tentacles move, I always imagined the tentacles would cause havoc in an octoling's sleep (i.e. grabbing the pillow and never letting go). As a result, I think they would wear tentacle-proof bonnets/hair covers to bed.

I mainly headcanon Marina wearing one, due to how long her hair is.

eight HAS to be famous in universe like. off the hook are so famous they're doing a world tour. marina's dev diaries are written like blog posts, and they're attached to her username - "DJ_Hyperfresh" - so it looks like they're definitely public??? and marina talks about eight on there SO MUCH. there's even AT LEAST one picture of them (last diary dev entry), even if it doesn't show their face. like. if nothing else there have got to be HORDES of off the hook fans out there desperate to know who this "eight" is and how they somehow became off the hook's closest friend
