Side note, I think I’ve finally found my own drawing style that I like! The past few months have all been experimenting with different styles and that’s why my art was so inconsistent style wise. But I hope now it will be more consistent!

14. i like drawing fanart the most and currently i’m really into drawing mystic messenger; more specifically, jumin x mc ,, i also really like drawing my ocs but i hardly ever post them online. orz i might try posting some in the future

18. my purpose for drawing is mainly for improvement but also because it’s something i like to do and am passionate about. i want to improve my art because one day i want to get to a point where i’m able to influence others in a positive way just as the way that the artists i’ve always looked up to have influenced me. i wan’t to make a difference through art and get my thoughts and opinions voiced without actually using words.

1, 10 and 22?😊🌸

1. i’ve been drawing since i was very young but i feel that the moment i wanted to really focus on improving my art was my first year of high school. it’s also the time i finally decided that i wanted a career in the animation field. that’s the year i got into art and i had aspirations to improve but if i’m being honest, it was mostly just drawing for fun. i didn’t really do too much to improve. i didn’t get a wake up call until i actually started college…so last year “orz 

10. hmm…this is actually hard for me to answer;; it’s not that i absolutely hate my art but i see every piece i draw as a “learning experience”…if that makes any sense at all haha “^ ^ but if i had to pick something i like about my art, i’ll go with my favorite thing to draw and that’s the face; in particular, the eyes/facial features. ( one of the reasons why i like drawing male characters is because i love giving them thick eyebrows lol ) 

22. i have many artists that i look up to but one artist who had a big influence on my art style is sodam-art/judy-kim-jump. ( they deleted their blog so i’m not able to tag them but if you google their first url you’ll see some examples of their work. ) one aspect of their art style that influenced me the most was they way they used colored lines for the skin and the style of the eyes. <3

This needs to be said and I’m tagging everyone on this because its more than Jonghyun

According to a Dispatch interview with a close friend of Jonghyun, he died feeling like a failure and that he couldn’t live up to expectations. Can we please stop putting these idols on pedestals so high that the moment they don’t do as well, they feel like they will plummet into nothing? I would rather have my favorite groups announce they were never going release music again if it meant that they could focus on themselves and live happy lives. At the end of the day, I don’t need a new album. I don’t need a world tour. But what I do need is for my faves to get physical and mental rest. And to know that sales and views dont matter. What does matter, at least to me, is their happiness, them knowing their worth, and that they are enough. Jonghyun didn’t deserve to feel like he wasn’t enough, and no other idol should.
