its an inevitable regression into old stereotypes and a need to recast aziraphale to fit a sexual fantasy. aziraphale is a fussy angel who doesnt lift more than his teacup because thats what he likes being and has zero desire to change. crowley is his knight riding in to save him and move his bookshelves or stop fucking time and if he flexes his arms while doing it to get aziraphale hot and bothered thats between them.
