Tora-Con Dates Announcement!
Guess what!? Tora-Con dates :)
Why Can't Tora-Con?
Thank you for attending Tora-Con 2025, this marks our post-con wrapup! We always want to respond to feedback and improve our convention for our attendees, but there are some things out of our control. Please give the “Why Can’t Tora-Con?” page a read to find any answers you’re looking for!
TDLR; we are a college student run convention bound by the rules of our college :(
We’ve focused on all these different aspects of Tora-Con, but what's the most important thing of all? Our attendees! We hope you enjoyed your time at Tora-Con this year, our staff (yes, most of us are students) work their hardest to run the best show we possibly can <3
While we weren't able to get too many photos (hint hint) of our events and panels, here are some captured moments of the J-Rock band Stackke, our Karaoke event, and the Asian Dance Showcase!
PS. Want a certain panel at Tora-Con but can’t seem to find it? We want YOU to host it :)
Now, for the part that everyone's most excited for… the Artist Alley and Vendors! Or maybe our wallets fear it the most– either way, we had an amazing selection of artists and vendors this year. We hope your conhauls were as fun as our own staffs’ hauls!
(New social media manager’s tiny haul included, bonus points to anyone who knows who these guys are!)
What kind of con would we be without any cosplayers? Here are several highlights! Our staff loved being on the lookout to see if anyone's cosplayed our favorite characters :D
What were some of your favorite cosplays you spotted?
Surprise, we have even more photos of our lovely guests! Please send extra love to our cosplay guests, EarlCrayTea, ChibiTifa, Lutavia, and Starfall Blade for hosting and judging our Cosplay Contest, and the Chalk Twins for bringing impressive artwork to Tora-Con year after year.
Plus, a bonus Matt Shipman and Matthew David Rudd (and a cameo from AJ Beckles)!
Thank you everyone for joining us for Tora-Con 2025! Follow along as we post memories from the con weekend, starting off with our amazing VA guests at their signing tables!
Special thanks to our VAs:
AJ Beckles, Zeno Robinson, Anairis Quiñones, Matt Shipman, Allegra Clark, Matthew David Rudd!!

...oops! We might've missed a few Tora-Cons on here... but we're so back we swear! Tora-Con 2025 might've already come to a close, but stay tuned as we share a post-con wrap up! And look forward to finally receiving updates on Tumblr again for Tora-Con :)
It's never too early to get our next event page up. Join in and keep those notifications on to stay up to date with what's to come in 2020!
Registration and Vendor/AA applications will open in the fall. Hope to see you there! bit.ly/T-C2020
Please... please do not upset the tigers. 🙈

Thank you SO much to everyone who came out for our 15th year... and 2020 is coming March 21-22, 2020 at RIT! Stay tuned for HUGE updates. We're ramping up to make it a particularly special year that will change Tora-Con for years to come. 🤫
In the meantime, PLEASE fill out the 2019 Feedback Survey and let us know how we can make this upcoming year even better! ➡️➡️bit.ly/TCFeedback2019 ⬅️⬅️
Tomorrow already?!? 😱 We're hastily preparing for tonight's early badge pickup from 8pm - 10pm in the Gordon Field House! We are aiming to open Field House doors at 7pm to get early arrivers out of the cold. We will not disperse you if you do, but for your health please don't arrive sooner than that if you can avoid it!
Only THREE more days! Hope the con crunch isn't hitting too hard... Let's welcome in this year's visiting food trucks: @RollnDeepRoc, @TheBrunchBoxRoc, and @lepetitpoutine !
All food trucks are located across the road from the Gordon Field House entrance.
