Excuse me, I’m very offended at the way you’re placing the blame of C.C.’s death upon me. It was difficult enough raising three children as a single father whose wife left him already. And now I have to deal with people coming online and saying that it was my fault that MY son killed his brother when i wasn’t around to stop it.

This post will talk about sibling bullying, child abuse, and even mention sexual abuse to minors. Continue at your own risk
Ok. Ok. I know I’m entirely biased here, but I have like, bloody evidence to back this shit up. I SIGHT MY SOURCES (is that the right spelling I dunno)
Often times, sibling bullying is caused by things such as: Neglect of the bully, parental abuse to the bully, domestic abuse (the bully will copy the behavior), or even simply sibling rivalry that gets out of hand and the parents don’t notice or don’t care to stop.
Either way, sibling bullying is usually the guardians fault.
Even if the abuse isn’t directly the parents fault, it’s hardly ever that the other sibling just. Wants to hurt their sibling. And if they DID genuinely just WANT TO, I would get them a therapist! Because they clearly need help, and I mean that seriously! They would still need care and love because if they just genuinely enjoy harming others the parents need to find the cause of that kind of behavior and put a stop to it. If your kid likes hurting people for no reason please get them a psychiatrist ;- ;
Many fans agree (I don’t know if it’s canon or not I’ve never played fnaf 4) that Mike was often put in charge of watching over his siblings. In two of the screenshots I’ve put now, it’s been said that doing this can lead to sibling bullying.
It is a parent’s job to stop bullying when it starts happening, and just the fact that it kept happening over and over again and got to the point that C.C. was KILLED over it, means that clearly William wasn’t stopping it. I understand it’s difficult sure, especially if miss Afton wasn’t in the equation, but that’s not an excuse.
DO NOT JUST BLAME A KID FOR THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR. If you just yell at them and tell them to stop, what will probably happen is it will get worse! I just wanted to say that. But yeah. Again. It’s not usually the fault of the bully, and they need support as well.
Ways of preventing this behavior! Notice how a lot of it is talking about the causes of the abuse??? And how none of it mentions kids just being evil little twats who like hurting others??? Yeah, I doubt Mike just likes watching his brother suffer.
And as a final note, William: literally killed kids, put a bloody microphone and camera in his son’s stuffed animal (possibly to manipulate him??) (also this one may be incorrect or disproven, a lot of my information is from around 2020), indirectly caused atleast TWO of his children’s death (maybe three) and one of those may not even be indirect, was a bloody TWAT, and was also just generally manipulative! Is it SO hard to believe he was also abusive?? Or at the very least neglectful.

HOLY SHIT THANK YOU. FINALLY, SOMEONE SAYS IT!!! Listen, as much as Michael was at fault for getting his brother killed, it was ultimately William’s parenting that caused everything. It doesn’t excuse Michael’s behavior toward c.c at all, but it’s an explanation to how it got severe to begin with. William refused to intervene and actively encouraged the behavior by allowing Michael to continue the behavior and manipulate c.c through the fredbear plush (if the theory is true, most likely is because of sister location’s private room) to believing that Michael hates him.
As somebody who’s into psychology, this is exactly what occurred with the Afton children. The fnaf 2 movie further hints this by William telling Vanessa in her nightmare that she’s his favorite. Wouldn’t that imply he made movie Michael feel like he wasn’t good enough? That he wasn’t loved? He 100% made his children turn against each other on purpose and it’s disgusting. Every continuity shows William as an abusive father, you can’t argue against that. He wanted his children to fight for his love and attention on purpose for whatever sick, twisted reason (bro’s a narcissist so that definitely has something to do with it).
This is why I believe that when Mrs Afton was out of the picture (most likely through divorce) it caused Michael to act up the most, since there’s evidence that he was very close to his mother. He relates to the mother figure in his favorite soap opera after all so that’s a huge piece of evidence for him being a momma’s boy. Her absence affected c.c and Elizabeth as well, but it impacted Michael the most, causing his changes in behavior. Combine that with William’s parental abuse and you have a recipe for disaster. Michael, despite everything he went through, still wants his father’s love and approval. He knows his father is a sick human being, but he can’t help but love him. William’s still his father and it’s common for children under their parent’s abuse to still love them despite the damage they caused. Every child under parental abuse is different, but it’s definitely possible for Michael.

I never would have expected how many people hate my guts. Everyone blames me for things I didn’t even do (I wouldn’t hurt Cassie, that was the mimic!!!) and people will find any way to demonize me!!
