i'm a Corpsman that has spent her first year in the navy... doing admin. I will get where I need to be though, even if the road there is longer than every other corpsman around me.. cause one day they can and will call me "ma'am!"

Waiting for approval

I hate when it takes forever for like 3 different PAO offices to approve things. I havent photographed anything in forever. nothing I feel like sitting and tagging with everything it needs to have. maybe I should just start posting other things.

16% advancement for Corpsmen this round... somehow I made it! I guess I remembered more for the test than I thought!

I worked for this. I hate how I have to be on the defensive now socially. I am learning very quickly not EVERYONE wants to be a team even if I do. its a shame. I dont see why working together is so difficult. Hopefully I can learn to be a good leader and create a good team environment. :fingers crossed:

Brain Cancer

Is this real?

They told us my dad has brain cancer... it has progressed quickly.

I doubt its stage 1 or 2... but I can hope right?

My commanding officer is the reason we got him to Johns Hopkins in the first place. He helped me get an answer just by having our hospital neurologists look at ONE MRI. I have so much thanks for him. he is a GREAT leader to do that for just a junior sailor.

my camera is down, next photo it takes will be of my dad on his 57th birthday. on friday... when we find out what stage the cancer is at.

my life does not feel real right now, its so upside down.

I was bored and made this. Its a Police Box based ring with a 1CT Princess Cut center stone. The three round stones is the Police Box sign, the two sets of four baguettes symbolize the windows, and a small princess cut below that to symbolize the instructions found on the front of the Police Box.

I have a tattoo on my lower leg of two stargazer lillies a little bigger then the size of my hand. Does this automatically exclude me from any chance at the Navy? I read somewhere that women were no longer required to wear the skirts, so I was wondering--is there a way around the tattoo problem by just wearing pants? If its allowed that is. And no--getting rid of my tattoo is not an option. Thanks! (:

Usually most pre-existing tattoos can have a waiver.

I keep getting told to crossrate to MC.

I havent eve had a chance to be an HM yet!! So how the hell am I supposed to determine if its right to crossrate?

just cause a few people think im good at ONE PART of being an MC... does NOT make me qualified.
