Yacouba Sawadogo is an exceptional man – he single-handedly managed to solve a crisis that many scientists and development organizations could not. The simple old farmer’s re-forestation and soil conservation techniques are so effective they’ve helped turn the tide in the fight against the desertification of the harsh lands in northern Burkina Faso.

Over-farming, over-grazing and over population have, over the years, resulted in heavy soil erosion and drying in this landlocked West African nation. Although national and international researchers tried to fix the grave situation, it really didn’t really make much of a difference. Until Yacouba decided to take matters into his own hands in 1980.

Yacouba’s methods were so odd that his fellow farmers ridiculed him. But when his techniques successfully regenerated the forest, they were forced to sit up and take notice. Yacouba revived an ancient African farming practice called ‘zai’, which led to forest growth and increased soil quality.

In the new footage Leo throws his scarf gear down Meat Sweat’s pants and it zaps him after he says his one liner

The same happens again later and you can hear a clear ‘beep’ sound after his one liner before Meat Sweats is shocked again

The device around his neck is designed to shock him whenever he says a one liner!

That explains the weird look form the others in this scene

They all know and he’s completely oblivious

The plot of the story is probably that Donnie gives the other three equipment to improve their fighting (nullifying impact for Mikey and doing whatever Raph’s helmet does) and it was decided that the best thing to do to improve Leo’s fighting was to cut down his one liners during his fights!

It makes that whole ’ wow I don’t know what this is but it has a lot of blinkity blinks’ so much funnier!

I flat gave the fuck up!

I get up at 3 am now to get my workout and life started….I wasn’t really ever sleeping past 3am and all it was doing was making me cranky during the day.

So I said fine, brain, you want to be up, WE ALL up now…so I now have time to workout before work..and when I do crash at 8pm every night now at least I’m out SOLID til at least 1am.. after that I don’t care.

9-1 is 5 hours if I at least get that I’m ‘good’..after that it’s bonus.
