Me: Being judgmental is toxic and I refuse to partake in this kind of negativity! Someone: *Has a rat tail* Me:
When you see a really attractive person and youâre just like chill
Donât shame the girls who sent pictures of themselves half-naked to their significant others as a way to express eroticism which is healthy and natural⊠give the people hell who think itâs okay to destroy someoneâs trust and distribute those images simply for entertainment purposes.Â
Say it again. I donât think they got it the first time. Too much truth.
why cant i be attractive like everyone on tumblr
*prays that I instantly become hot at 18*
*ok letâs shoot for 21*
this was my desktop background in 2004 itâs just a guy riding a long motorcycle with the motorcycle photoshopped out
I need Feminism because
When they flat out told Peggy Carter in Agent Carter that âYouâre a woman. No man will ever see you as an equal,â my brother nodded his head and I started crying.
When my science teacher told my class that âMen are always first, and women are always last,â all the women in the classroom were silent while the men laughed.
When I sat down at lunch one day, one of my âfriendsâ told all us that â(our government teachers name) was being sexist earlier, it was hilarious,â and all the men at the table wanted to hear what he had said.
When I asked to stop being called a bitch at the lunch table, I was asked âis it that time of the month again?â
When I listen to menâs conversions at my school, their jokes are all women based.
When I hear one of those jokes is âwanna hear a joke?â âsure, what?â âwomenâs rights!â
When my âfriendsâ girlfriend broke up with him because he started doing drugs again, she was a âcrazy fucking bitchâ and âcontrolling as hellâ and âshe didnât have the right to say anything anyways.â
When my mom came home one night, bloodied and bruised, the cops showed up the next day to arrest her for slapping her boyfriend.
When I started wearing leggings when I was 13-14, my mom bought my first pair and a can of pepper spray to match.
When my best friend lived across the street, I would walk the few feet home with my keys ready to fight at the first sound of a step.
I need feminism because every women has or will experience all these things, even if itâs just one time or everyday. I need feminism because there are women who will read this and cry. I need feminism because 12 and 13 year olds are being cat called while walking home.
I need feminism because sometimes, I wish I wasnât a women.
Feminism is more than a want. It is a need.
if you want a nice body, go get it. if you want to become a lawyer, study your ass off. if you want nice hair, pick a style and get it done. stop being afraid and motivate yourself. find yourself. find your happiness, because itâs out there waiting for you.
âBook on Bookâ is a transparent paperweight that holds down the pages of a novel. It keeps the pages from flipping and allows the user to eat, drink, or sit back while reading.
protect the book from ur tears
itâs about who you miss at 2 in the afternoon when youâre busy, not 2 in the morning when youâre lonely.
