so i started this one uh... three months ago as part of the td horror halloween thing... but then i got stuck on the background and never posted it. but better late than never and i want it off my plate for the new year.
the first prompt was mirror, so i basically had to do the weird flesh mirror thing. plus some creative liberties for the little mike puppet.

7th of October, 1944.
Through the dense and dark forest, a woman ran for her life.
She was a stranger to Noah and his partners; her only offense was one too many inappropriate comments about Alejandro, most likely spoken without the intent for them to hear. But they had, and the woman ended up as their latest plaything.
Curious how the universe worked at times.
The woman ran in the direction sheâd been led to believe would take her back to the townâ back to safety. In actuality, it only led her deeper into the forest. And even if she would somehow come to realize it, there was no turning back; Heather and Alejandro were right at her tail. Close enough for the woman to know she was being pursued, but always just out of sight.Â
Noah himself was hidden in the foliage with his rifleâ both unknown players to the woman. He kept the crosshair perfectly locked on her, aiming for her stumbling legs. He couldnât kill her right away; that wouldnât be any fun.
No, better let her think she had a fighting chance to escape her fate, only to slowly turn the odds against her.
Noah curled his finger around the triggerâ and when the woman had passed the tree theyâd marked beforehand, he pulled it.
BANG!
The deer fell lifeless to the forest floor as the sound of a gunshot cut through the serene afternoon scene. At Noahâs side, Owen whistled an impressed tune and lowered his binoculars.
âYou got it!â
âLike I said I would.â Noah grinned and picked himself up. He swung his rifle over his shoulder and walked by Owenâs side to the carcass.Â
âStill, didnât think youâd become an ace so quickly.â Owen said with a hearty laugh.
