The Lost Files Angst!!

Hey I just wanted to know if you are the one that drew these (i love them tbh) and (if u did) I wanted to know if you were gonna make any more for the other guard cuz these are just so good and yeah... :)

And yesss, I will be drawing more of them. It might take a while because I’m trying to capture them book accurate as much as possible, so I’m rereading descriptions for references.

But I also imagined them very specifically while I was still reading sooo I might just go with the flow for some of them HAHAHHAHA like Sam here, I don’t remember if he had straight or curly hair but he’s cute with wavy hair so I might just keep it like that (I refuse to acknowledge the buzz cut disguise in the 2nd book, thanks…)

That moment in the book after they rescued Nine from the Mog base and Four tried to get through the blue force field and got sick. Here’s a doodle of Bernie Kosar watching over Four recovering while he’s regretting accidentally leaving Sam, and Nine munching on a Hare he hunted with some Barbecue Sauce… forgot how he found that..

(Also when Four got jealous when Nine developed the animal talking legacy)

Six’s fight scenes are very interesting to me, especially her style when she finds objects in her surroundings to use in combat, I suspect that it’s because her loric chest is lost so she doesn’t have a signature weapon like the others. I think the legacies she developed really suits her overall character, and I love how familiar she is to Nine when they go apeshit with their powers (damn there’s really something about getting captured in a Mogorian base). She’s the most experienced and strategic of the 10 for me and she has a very strong warrior mindset.

I think out of all the POVs in the book, I love reading hers the most.

^^Also love how she met Marina(7) and her thoughts were like “must protecc” and whenever she meets another Garde she’s lowkey excited not having to train alone.

Random reminder that Marina/#7 had a cave she’d sneak out to just to paint Loric murals in as a coping mechanism - and that she had one of John Smith’s face (only because he was the only Loric she had been sure to see)

I just find it funny if there were to be an interaction with the other Garde of her paintings, I’m sure they’d be awestruck to find her painting talent.

Reading his back story in one of the lost files just tells you he was misunderstood, confused and was really just trying to survive the whole time. I still don’t like him tho HAHAHAH

“We’ll make it back together, Henri. Me and you, I promise,” I say, and close my eyes.

“Be strong,” he says, and is overtaken by slight coughs, though he tries to speak through them. “This war…Can win…Find the others…. Six…. The power of…,” he says, and trails off.

I try to stand with him in my arms but I have nothing left, hardly enough strength to even breathe. Off in the distance I hear the beast roar. Cannons are still being fired, the sounds and lights of which reach out over the stadium bleachers, but as each minute passes less and less of them are being fired until there is only one. I lower Henri in my arms. I place my hand to the side of his face and he opens his eyes and looks at me for what I know will be the final time. He takes a weak breath and exhales and then slowly closes his eyes.

“I wouldn’t have missed a second of it, kiddo. Not for all of Lorien. Not for the whole damn world,” he says, and when that last word leaves his mouth I know that he is gone. I squeeze him in my arms, shaking, crying, despair and hopelessness taking hold. His hand drops lifelessly to the grass. I cup his head in my hand and hold it close to my chest, and I rock him back and forth and I cry like I’ve never cried before.

redid an old artwork. i was supposed to finish this last year, but work took over my time, but i found time to “finish” this sketch today. this scene right here was what sealed the deal for me in finishing this series. no regrets. i do hope they make it into a series one day…there’s still hope!

I love how she gained a lot of confidence of her abilities throughout the books, I think she’s pretty underrated
