Spent a lot of time this patrol going through old photos. It’s funny seeing how my edits change over time, or how different photos jump out to me. Never ending process I suppose #theglobewanderer #travelgram #japan #visualsoflife #canonphotography #nightscape https://www.instagram.com/p/Bpv9Nq7HCV2/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=j1mbi2k1s6io

I haven’t seen many people talk about this, so I wanted to mention that the fluent forever youtube channel is great if you want to improve your pronunciation. He has pronunciation guides for Italian, Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hebrew, French, Dutch, Spanish (European and Latin American), Cantonese, English, Russian, German, Hungarian, Portuguese, and Japanese. I find it really helpful as he breaks down each individual sound in the language, what your tongue position should be, and gets a native speaker to give an example. Just thought it would be helpful to some people :)
Oh lawd I wish I stayed active on here I’ve done some cool shit and been all over in the past couple years and I could have met so many of my old tumblr friends during my travels! Helo flights in the Caribbean to photograph the Navy’s aid after the hurricanes last year was definitely the highlight.... I just wish I had been more experienced to show more of what was happening (obv. Took more photos than this but I try not to share work photos on social media)
I don’t care for selfies much these days but here is a mix of exceptions from this year Also I just wanna add that Japanese people are fun as hell to drink with, and language barriers are nothing to be scared of
Shoutout to the people I’ve followed on here for years who are still here
It’s like I left a few years ago and now I’m back and we’re all growed up.
Crazy how much changes in a couple years

Re-edit of a photo from January. I’m trying to level up my photo editing so here I was messing around with selective coloring. I’m really interested in more traditional styles of art; their grasp of color and composition and how the knowledge of painters can translate to photography.

“The camera is the most powerful tool ever invented—it is more powerful than any weapon. Its strength comes from empowering people and multiplying their potential. It is a tool that speaks all the languages and can connect its holder with everyone in the world. It is also a tool that enables each person to share their story and their unique point of view.”
