Honestly, the worst part about spambots is looking at each profile icon and thinking, "That is a picture of a real life woman. I wonder how badly she would consider this a misuse of her appearance and violation of her privacy?" And the answer is likely different for every picture.

It's thoughts like that that keep me motivated to report and block the bots whenever they appear. Kill them all.

This actually happened to my cousin! Her picture got stolen - a FB profile pic. We did a reverse image search and found it was being used by everything from catfishes to bots. Her main feelings about it were "Furious and incredibly grossed out".

(Interestingly, when she contacted the catfishes to threaten legal action (and the websites they were on, obvs) the bot use seemed to stop pretty quickly too. Make of that what you will.)
