Regardless of everything, it's still a victory for Brazil, a film about the military dictatorship winning an Oscar in these dark times at the wave of fascism that the world is going through.

We still have an Oscar. We still spread an important message to the whole world. We still keep the memories of the victims of the dictatorship alive. And that's worth more than anything else.
