Generally I don’t like having male friends, I don’t always mesh well with them, but when I tell you my best friend is the sweetest kindest guy ever it’s so reasonable for me to make and exception

Genuinely everytime he notices I’m up late he always checks to make sure I’m all right, and everytime without fail I’m not, and regardless of what he’s doing he’ll drop it to help me feel better :(

And the thing is our relationship is completely platonic, we both have girlfriends and theres nothing at all between us, but he’s still just so consistently caring towards me (which feels rare for men sometimes)

Once in a while I dip into like fashion and fashion history YouTube and the things they talk about as if they’re common problems is insane, frankly.

I saw someone was doing a “challenge” to not buy any new clothes for 40 days.

I have bought like three shirts in the past year and all of those were because I got gift cards from my family who noticed that I keep my shirts for so long that they’re falling apart.

Sometimes in media I have a hard time hearing men be vulnerable or crying because it feels inherently manipulative because there’s few times in real life I’ve seen men talk about their issues without trying to use it to excuse things they’d done

Every real partner I’ve had has somewhat of a dominant petname, I use many but there’s always one I use more.

I’ve had plenty of exes that were unserious, but with the 2 which meant something along with my sweet lovely girlfriend now I tend(ed) to use one petname a lot more than others

The first partner was mostly ‘hun’, while the second was ‘sweetheart’, and I’m completely over them, but I tend to use hun ALOT less with my girlfriend, because in a way it feels dirtied by that ex.

‘Sweetheart’ isn’t as bad though, they were kind and I don’t regret anything with them, including how it ended, and whilst they still hold meaning to me, ‘sweetheart’ was somewhat passed on with ease, no cracks, no smudges.

My girlfriend is my baby most of the time, frankly I hated the petname before I got with her, but there was just something about her that really drew me and made me care for her.

Hun = sweet, overbearing flavour for me

Sweetheart = soft, kind, he took care of me

Baby = nurturing, gentle, warm

Genuinely theres this one fandom group (like semi RP I think?) on tumblr that I’m so invested in.

They’re all like young and emo (younger and emo-er than me to clarify) and they overshare SO much.

It’s like my Keeping up with the Kardashians.
