As cheesy as it may sound, reading Barbara Keesling’s book, The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex, helped me immensely when it came time for me to actually start connecting with men. Some tips are a hit or miss, but overall, it’s a great read, and the advice is generally of high quality. You have to decide how much weight to give each anecdote and when the timing is right to implement the advice, but this book really worked for me and continues to help me thrive in my relationship.

Just because a man has higher education doesn’t mean that he should be idealized or romanticized. Doctors, lawyers, financiers, whatever; any man can be abusive or narcissistic, and men with more money and education have more resources with which to potentially harm you. If you don’t know a man, then you shouldn’t be putting him on a pedestal based on his career alone.

You should pamper and take care of yourselves. HOWEVER, You need more than a pretty face these days y'all to get ahead in life. You see women who are in business, law, and Healthcare. They had to bust their behinds to get where they are now. Endless nights staying up to studying, not worried about men 24/7, dreaming about what will be on the other side to motivate themselves. Some of y'all want to be babied. Yes, not every woman thinks the same and wants to be a rich housewife. How do you think women become rich housewives?
