Teddy Ruxpin Cosplay Showcase 🧸✨️
I brought Teddy Ruxpin to life! This illiop looks like he's about to go on a real adventure. Also check it out on YouTube, link in my bio! This will also be cross-uploaded to other platforms. I started this cosplay project 5 years ago as a teen, and I finally finished this video for him. He's been through a lot of revisions since my first WIP. I have a strange history with this silly bear-a-like. I was scared of him as a kid and forced my parents to return him to the store back in the early 2000s. Then I was reintroduced to him back when I was a teen via the 2017 toy being shown in an article. I ended up listening to some songs and stories, then checked out the TV show, and I found that he wasn't so scary, after all! I wanted to kind of bring his story back, even if in a small way. But wait, I'm an artist! I can literally bring him to life! That ended up with this wonderful work, haha. This is the second fursuit I have ever made, which involves a mix of puppetry and costuming. This video is not perfect. I had trouble recording this video due to the nature of limited eyesight and the large costume in a small space. I had no assistance with filming, so I made any mistakes I was aware of, and I did not like my retakes as much.
Credits for clips and audio are explained better on YouTube with links to each place I sourced from: Teddy Ruxpin is a character and franchise originally created in 1986-1987 by Ken Forsse alongside Alchemy II, with Worlds of Wonder as the distributor, and Henson Independent Properties. Other credits include Phil Baron, Jason Griffith, George Wilkins, DIC Enterprises and Atkinson Film-Arts, ahuggett01, and BrerBrian04. The animated background, voice for Fuzz Fobby, and the props are all created by me!
