what atla characters would you like to see ?

azula’s meltdown at the end of the agni kai makes complete sense given her age and mental illness. she reacts like a child when she finds herself bound and it rapidly develops into what netflix captioned as ‘ hysterical sobbing ’ when she is confronted with emotions that she isn’t mature enough to handle. she is used to being the perfect child , the ultimate firebender , and having complete control. the moment the power balance shifts and she finds herself in a new role , her persona completely disintegrates. it’s easy to recognize this behavior as childish as many people with mental illness or people who have endured trauma  find themselves stuck mentally at a very young age. especially given that she’s only fourteen , the amount of pressure she’s under combined with all these other factors lead to her cracking.

                perhaps her touch grows a little ROUGHER than it ought to be – fingers PRESSING against wounded skin with little thought to aftermath . yet still , she finishes with a singular tap of her wand , lifting her sisters hand && ｐｅｅｒｉｎｇ at where marks had once resided . comment yields little more than a sigh , a lift of slender shoulders as she stands , straightening her skirt whilst keeping her gaze trained solely upon the other woman .        ‘ you are 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐊𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒 , i have no desire to bury more family members . ‘      concern sets within the lines around her mouth – ; relationship with middle sister in tatters , bella was the only tie to childhood && she would be damned if it was SNATCHED away from her by the carelessness of the woman .     ‘ it is not 𝙼𝚈 𝙵𝙸𝙶𝙷𝚃 , lucius requested i stay out of the fray , && that is what i plan on doing . ‘

bella  notices her  sister’s  lack  of  tenderness when  addressing  the  wounds  ,  aware  that  it  stems  from  her  distaste  for  the  whole  situation.  the  dark  haired witch  rolls  her  eyes  and  pulls  her  hand  up  to  flex  her  fingers ,  inspecting  the  healed  skin  carefully.    her  sister  truly  was  a  skilled  witch  ,  even  if  bellatrix would  never  voice  that  thought.   ʺ    oh  don’t  be  so  DRAMATIC.    ʺ  she  snaps  ,  rising to  her  feet.   last  comment  causes a  scoff  ,  disgusted  expression on  her  face  when  she  turns  back  to  face  the  blonde ,  ʺ  lucius  is  a  coward.  you  belong  out  there.  THAT  is  how  we  stop  burying  more  family  members. by  winning  this  war  !    ʺ

for all her faults. azula is one of the smartest , and most capable fighters in the whole series , despite being only fourteen. i think it’s easy to forget how good of a fighter she is simply because she’s posed as the antagonist. azula single-handedly faced the avatar , toph and sokka during the eclipse (with the help of some dai li agents - who were overpowered by the group ) and escaped completely unharmed.

              her sister was a HORRID winner , yet narcissa preferred that over what came from bellatrix LOSING – both scenarios were impossible to deal with in truth . a sigh , watching her wand within sisters grasp , arms folding over her chest as she taps her foot upon the ground ; she could swing at the other woman , but narcissa ＤＯＵＢＴＥＤ it would yield the desired results , if anything it would end with her in another 𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢 𝚋𝚒𝚗𝚍 𝚌𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎 .     ‘ bella , tell me , is there a universe where you are NOT the worst ? ‘            she reaches out to TUG a lock of dark hair , releasing to make a grab for her wand .

bellatrix  can’t  help  but  laugh  at  her  sister’s  unfortunate predicament  ,  along  with  her  pathetic  attempts to  get  the  wand  back.  she  twists away  from  the  hands  that  grab  at  her  hair.  ʺ  I  don’t  know  anything  about  other  universes… ʺ  she  takes  a  couple steps  back  ,  pointing  her  own  wand  menacingly  at  the  younger blonde  ,  smirk  twisting  her  lips  ,  ʺ  did  you  want  me  to  try  and  send  you  there  ?    ʺ  she  was  a  skilled  witch  ,  but  she  certainly  wasn’t  ready  for  magic  like  that.

           she isn’t quite QUICK ENOUGH to bring the shield up a second time , her sisters second spell hitting its ＴＡＲＧＥＴ; the blonde hisses as thick ropes coil about slender form , feeling her wand drop from her fingers to clatter upon the ground .                           ‘ i don’t RECALL asking for you to TEACH ME ANYTHING , bella ! ‘                            it was dissolved like this – ; going from simple teasing , to something much more 𝚂𝙸𝙽𝙸𝚂𝚃𝙴𝚁 , it didn’t surprise her anymore .                      ‘ you WIN , now let me go . ‘

a  wide-eyed  smile  claims  her  expression  and  she  bounces on  the  balls  of  her  feet  ,  ʺ  I  win  ,  I  win  !  ʺ  she  was  always  a  sore  winner ,  but  a  worse  loser. extremely  competitive  and  low  morals made  for  a  very  dangerous witch.  she  leans  in  close  to  her  sister  to  press  lips  against  her  cheek  and twirl a lock of her platinum hair before stooping  down  to  snatch  the  dropped  wand.  with  a  flick  of  her  wand  she  allows the  ropes  to  fall  away  ,  ʺ  now  what  ,  cissy  ?  what  are  you  gonna  do  without  your  wand  ?    ʺ

           anger settles in the lines around her mouth – IRRITATION blossoming upon sharp features as wand lifts , held delicately between nimble digits && she watches her sister , ( 𝚁𝙰𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁 𝙱𝙴 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙷𝚄𝙽𝚃𝙴𝚁 𝚃𝙷𝙰𝙽 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙿𝚁𝙴𝚈 , 𝚈𝙾𝚄'𝚁𝙴 𝙳𝙰𝙽𝙶𝙴𝚁𝙾𝚄𝚂 ) battle wise , she was no match for the elder witch ; && yet , bellatrix was near relentless in pursuit .     ‘ ＥＮＯＵＧＨ , bella ! ‘        hand lifts in a subtle movement , jaw CLENCHING tightly as singular spell falls fro her lips in a bid to prevent further curses landing upon person .                                               ‘ 𝙋𝙍𝙊𝙏𝙀𝙂𝙊 ! ‘

ʺ    this  is  how  you  LEARN  !    ʺ    bellatrix shouts  over  the  noise  of  their  duel.  it  had  started  as  nothing  more  than  sisterly teasing  ,  but  now  she  advanced  on  her  younger sibling  with  a  smirk  tilting her  lips.  the  cat  forever entertained  by  the  mouse.    she  casts  two  spells  in  quick  succession ,  the  first  intended  to  blast  her  sister’s  shield apart  ,  and  the  second intended  to  catch her unrpotected.    ʺ    BOMBARDA  !      INCARCAROUS  !      ʺ

ʺ  come  on  ,  narcissa !    ʺ    she  taunts  in  a  high  voice  ,  hurling  another hex  at  her  sister’s  feet.  the  longer this  goes  on  ,  the  more  severe her  every  spell  becomes.  from  tickling  spells to  those  that  had  the  ability  to  inflict  serious damage.  ʺ  fight  back  !  ʺ

her  hands  were  mangled  by  an  errant hex.  not  exactly a  rarity  in  the  life  she  led.  people  who  were  fighting for  their  lives  often  turned to  desperate  last  resorts.  despite being  a  skilled fighter  ,  once  in  a  while  bella  got  hit.  narcissa  is  skilled  in  many  ways  ,  and  bella  doesn’t doubt  her  sister’s ability  to  heal  her  injuries. the  dark  haired witch  rolls  her  eyes  and  huffs  loudly ,  her  usual  pouting  expression to  show  that  she  found  this  to  be  almost trivial.    ʺ    well  hurry  up.    ʺ    she  snaps  in  return  ,  squirming  a  little  as  skin  was  drawn  back  together.  ʺ  let’s  go  ,  cissy. our  place  is  out  there  FIGHTING !  ʺ
