me: yes the arson was just for fun, and it was just a coincidence that they were all churches with predominantly black members. there’s no hate or intention here, probably just dry grass catching on fire!

it’s a shame the original caption for this is gone bc it was a really nice story. An author decided he wanted his 2000-ish word essay tattooed onto people, but only one word per person, if someone was to die, the story would be gone. It’s kind of amazing to think, imagine being that author and having a story that could never be read, yet it could be anywhere in the world. idk man I just think it’s pretty incredible.

I was about 8 I think
Fucking 7 years old.
I was six when my family started telling me I need to eat less because i won’t be pretty and no one will marry me. Also my dance teacher used to scream at me in front of 50 other dancers to suck in my stomach and start exercising outside of rehearsals.
3rd grade.
When I was about 12, a girl who sat next to me in class said, completely disgusted, “ew, you don’t shave your legs?” and I was so embarrassed as soon as I got home I begged my mom to teach me how.

The Girl Scouts of Western Washington recently received a $100,000 donation, but it came with a caveat: the money couldn’t go to supporting transgender girls. So, the organization gave the money back and started an Indiegogo fundraising campaign in the hopes of making up the difference. They’ve already done that and then some: in the first day alone, they’ve made $130,000.
