Henry's Musical Adventure.

My names Henry Brett, I am from Belfast studying geology at Durham University and I play guitar, ukulele and banjo and started to sing a few weeks ago, this is my way to try and make me record my little musical adventures I like Blues, Rock, Trad, Fingerstyle, Tapstyle, Acoustic, Pop, Jazz, Classical and Bluegrass music, my favourite band is Rush, My favourite artist is John Butler and my favourite poet is Frank Turner. (and if you ask nicely i can make my guitar speak whale. not even joking.)

SO. This is a song I started working on last may, and it all started when my friend at durham sent me this joke;

And suddenly i thought that i hadn't written a sad song about home! It kind of spiralled out of control from there, and the first verse actually describes how to get to Belfast from Durham by land, and then after that it gets darker, So yeah, enjoy!

Doing this song was a lot of fun, its a great wee duet but we found it too disgustingly couply/cringy so we had to norn irish up the breakdown bit. enjoy!

Dreams & Nightmares 

A Piece I've been working on for the best part of a year now, Its barely recognisable as what i started with! I like writing songs about/around themes I find that it makes me try new/different things and stops me getting in a repetitive musical rut.
