I shave my cooch (trans dude, but that adds a whole other layer) but not my legs or underarms bc long hair down there is itchy and uncomfortable, but shaving every two days isn't that hard or time consuming.

My cis boyfriend has shaved his balls consistently every week since puberty. He also shaved nowhere else.

Genitals get hot and wet which is Sensory Hell for me, but it also happens to fit a lot of beauty standards. I don't think it's fair to say that it's "a girl thing" or a "online autistics" thing, bc both of us have our papers and even if we didn't, it's not any less valid

There is a surprising amount of femdom and unapologetically horny women in Arthurian legend, while I understand this is because women were viewed as the more lascivious sex in the Medieval era, it is actually highly entertaining and (at times) refreshing to read in comparison to later literature and modern depictions of Medieval women as modest and chaste creatures with no agency. There will be a female character in a story who just wants to get her rocks off and is willing to do pretty much anything to get dicked down but she’s not framed as the villainess, just a horny. A temptress, yes, but not inherently ignoble or dirty for her sexual wants. The Vulgate Cycle is far more open about the sexual escapades of the characters than literary classics of the 19th century.

This is by no means supported by fact as far as I’m aware, but I remember reading something once that speculated that the “unicorns are drawn to virgin maidens pure of heart” originated as a bit of a joke, as the idea was that you would never ever FIND a unicorn because women who were both Virginal and Pure-Hearted were even rarer

Why did Carmilla mechanize the band?

Is there a canon lore reason?

Carmilla is a Vampire. She is a true immortal. She cannot die.

Her home planet Terra is gone. Dead. And the only other vampire we know of (Loreli) is.... well, both Carmilla's abusive ex[?]-wife and "gone" - Carmilla may have killed her, or it may be some other thing. This was likely covered in the lost media Loreli songs which we do not have.

It may be discussed further in the upcoming band Dr. Carmilla & The Void Quartet, as Maki iirc has stated the new band might re-release some of the old old old Doc C music now!!

Anyway, So Carmilla is immortal. She's been immortal a very long time. And she certainly isn't making more vampires, as well,

So instead she comes up with a new form of Immortality - The Mechanism - and immortalizes herself some children. Thus goth vampire mom comes to be! She's their mom :D shes silly.

Well, Technically! The airlock bit was a recurring 'Dr. Carmilla & The Mechanisms' gag they used across shows as a storytelling premise. We do not have many mechanisms shows recorded, much less many Dr. Carmilla and The Mechanisms shows recorded, but as with many of-the-era steampunk shows, bits were often reused to frame certain narrative points -- think how every show of OUATIS would have the "fuck the ship" segment!

Carmilla being thrown out the airlock was how they often started shows! The Fiction Who Killed Dr. Carmilla was a play on that recurring bit. Who airlocked her and when is not particularly relevant, as Carmilla's final departure was not through an airlock, but rather her taking it upon herself to leave.

She was airlocked many a time. She found her way back to her erstwhile children eventually every single time.
