@trannycrowley-archive
Thatâs it, Iâm using this url on my new discourse blog when I finally get the spoons just because it pisses transphobes off
you are aware that tr*nnycrowley is a man using the t slur
I followed him before he changed his url, also did you intend for there to be a question mark at the end of that or are you just assuming I know everything
Anyway, @trannycrowley do you have any commentary? I havenât seen anyone bring this up with you yet Iâm getting anons about you and how Iâm a transmisogynist for associating with you. Doesnât seem right that no one has confronted you about it, like Iâm guilty by association but somehow youâre not.
I have been confronted about it https://trannycrowley.tumblr.com/post/186287792859/image-description-anonymous-said-to Thatâs the only anon Iâve elected to acknowledge though. Other people have also gotten anons about me, and Iâm touched by how famous I am.
And I will say again, I am a trans man and if people took TWO FUCKING SECONDS to look at my blog before spreading accusations they would find out I am in fact fucking trans
Iâve moved mains and Iâm over at @shittyuselessdiscourse now. Might switch my url over there bc Iâm fond of this one, but for right now, Iâm over there. Queueâs still got a bit to go on here I think, and Iâm probably gonna use it mostly for bitching and flags but
And if youâre seeing this, queueâs ran out. Thatâs all folks

THIS HAPPENED BINGHAMTONâS EAST MIDDLE SCHOOL! the local anti-capitlaist social justice group, PLOT, is the only reason you know about this. they created this rally and got the national mediaâs attention. one of the speakers said they got messages from other student families saying their children had been put through similar treatment. but the school is activist denying all of it because strip searchs are against their own district policy. #believeblackgirlsbcsd
So theyâre straight up committing crimes against students and thought they could get away with it cuz theyâre black girls?
Sounds about white
the bar is set very very low
It makes me angry when exclusionists say they're "bored" with ace discourse like they're not the ones who have been dragging this elongated farting sound out since 2015. We've been waiting for you to shut the fuck up so if you're "tired of the discourse" then just... shut the fuck up? You've done your damage, you've shoved enough people back in the closet with your dogshit, now leave.
why would you tag a bunch of minors in series of posts detailing graphic descriptions of rape, abuse, or suicide baitings and not think there was anything wrong with that? not all antis send death threats or suicide bait or rape threats. in fact, the vast majority of antis are minors who would never do that. ALL anti antis ship problematic material. you say theres nothing wrong with it, but that begs the question: what is appealing about shipping two brothers together? or a dad and his bio kid?
The trigger warnings were there. But if they donât want to look at the damage their community has done, maybe they shouldnât be a part of that community. Theyâre not babies. Being a minor doesnât spare them a wake-up call for whatâs been going on in their community. Being a minor should spare you from sexual advances from adults. It should spare you from debt or extensive legal responsibility. It should spare you from being forced to work a job, or forced out on the streets. It should not spare you from being told you are making yourself part of a group that has told Jewish people to burn alive, queer people their identities arenât real, survivors their abuse was deserved, disabled people theyâre homebound, unwashed freaks who should wet themselves, and middle schoolers they should be raped.
You also literally missed the whole part where that entire post proved my point, because y'all threatened me with violence for speaking up against the abuse y'all have been perpetuating and normalising. No, not all anti antis ship problematic ships. Not all antis harass people. Itâs about what the movement stands for. And the anti movement stands for censorship and fearmongering.
Just because you donât understand why someone ships something, doesnât mean you have to bully them. It really does come down to humans being afraid of what they donât understand, doesnât it?
The worst bullying and suicide baiting Iâve ever seen was coming from minors. A person who told me my parents and my friendâs therapist need to kill themselves âas soon as possibleâ? 13. A person who said my mother needs a terminal illness? 17. A person who started writing to relatives of my another friend, a lgbt person in a conservative family? 15.
Minors make the majority of the bullies. Thatâs not surprising, because a lot of them also go through the stage of being a school bully, and later grow out of it. But this issue needs to be addressed.
Yeah uhm sorry but first: There are a bunch of minors who think spewing those violent threats against anyone they donât see as a human is okay. Those examples above me are not exceptions. The most antis that I have spotted who werenât just anon hate were minors themselves.
Second: Teenagers in my country at least are taught about the horrors of what Nazis did in concentration camps. Because it is important to us, that our youth knows about how terrifying that was, what inhumane acts were done there so we, the next generations wonât let that happen again and wonât sympathize with Nazi scum. Most of us have visited an old concentration camp during their school time and it made me feel sick to my stomach to see and read about all the cruelties.
Itâs important to show younger antis what kind of people they are going to surround themselves with. We have to point out, that this kind of shit is NOT okay.
The vast majority of antis are minors who do EXACTLY that anon. Weâve got receipts. And it doesnât matter whether you find a ship appealing or not. It doesnât warrant harassing people. Block and blacklist content you donât like as necessary and move on. And you gotta love the disingenuous remark that most antis are innocent while ALL anti antis ship problematic ships - which isnât true at all. In fact, most of the âproblematicâ ships antis hate that Iâve seen are simply rival ships or NOTPS that they slap buzzwords on to justify harassing the shippers.
this will never not be funny to me how antis pretend that children canât be bullies. and definitely canât bully adults.
when i was 15 a new teacher came to our school, she was maybe 24/25, her first job after she finished her training. the kids in my class spotted her inexperience instantly. the boys started to say obscene sexual things to her constantly, write obscene things on the blackboard. the girls loudly ridiculed what she wore. i knew this was wrong and horrible, but also not a popular kid, i was terrified to be next so i sat quietly. the woman had a mental breakdown after 2 weeks and quit. she had never done anything to anyone in that class.. she couldnât have, she had not been there long enough. it was an attack with a weak excuse that she was a teacher, and weird⌠she wasnât weird just shy and very well spoken.
many antis pretend like words canât hurt adults⌠bullying, mocking, harassment there is no cutoff point. itâs not 18, people who turn 18 and legally become adults donât stop having emotions, donât stop being vulnerable, people who turn the magical age of 25 when the brain âstops developingâ donât stop having emotions, donât stop being vulnerable, and so onâŚ
incessant group attacks, suicide baiting, death threats, threats of harm, stalking, mocking and gas lighting it affects people as much when they are 13 as when they are 53. it may affect them slightly differently and maybe a 53 might need more to break, because they may have worked out some defenses by then. but everyone has a breaking point. and no stranger online knows where it is, and what will trigger it. if youâre in a group that believes some people donât have emotions and canât be hurt then youâre stripping these people of their humanity and thatâs a really messed up thing to do.
not to mention that from what iâve seen anti behaviour is in most cases for fun, or for clout and fully based on made up accusations.
ive been reading a book that basically explains how so-called âbrain differencesâ between the genders is the result of gendered socialization and not the cause of it. i honestly expected the book to be very cis-centric but its actually the opposite, the author stresses that testimony from trans ppl is actually indispensable because weâve, in a sense, âlived both experiencesâ
more cis feminists should have this mindset
one of the first examples that she uses to introduce her point about how perception by others can shape a personâs performance actually uses a trans woman. it explains that as a certain trans woman became to be seen as a woman more and more frequently, the ppl arond her eventually started viewing her as being ill equipped for tasks that they did not bother her about pre-transition. eventually she even found herself underperforming in these tasks herself.
whats the name of the book
Delusions of Gender by Cordelia Fine
Hereâs a pdf, babes <3
I knew it was this book before Iâd finished reading the first two lines. Honestly this book is indispensible if you want to debunk any gender determinism people claim is science. I canât recommend it enough.
Sheâs written a new one! It won the Royal Society prize for science book of the year, and itâs called Testosterone Rex, and it is excellent.
(Bonus: itâs making old white men really really mad.)
(Bonus bonus: I am myself a neuroscientist, and the old white men mentioned above â who are not â could not have missed the point harder if theyâd actively tried. Which. Maybe?)
Just a few of the stories my great aunt told me about women in the 60s:
1) A woman she worked with at the hospital who had a baby with one of the ambulance drivers. When work found out they fired her (he kept his job). She tried to self-abort with a knitting needle.
2) The sister of one of her neighbours who wasnât able to rent a room because she was a âfallen womanâ.
3) A girl who got sent to a convent house and scrubbed floors until the day she gave birth. Her baby was given up for adoption without her consent.
4) Girls who had babies with priests.
5) Women who were on their fifth, sixth, seventh child, who had been pregnant for the best part of a decade, begging for sterilisation because their husbands wouldnât wear a condom.
Banning abortion has never ever stopped it from happening. Itâs just meant more stigma, more prejudice, more risks and more deaths.
In 1962, my mother was going thru a divorce, got pregnant and knew this fact would be used to deny her divorce (they used to do that, in case you didnât know). Â
My mother was given a âshotâ; she lived 3 blocks from the doctor.  He never told her what it was, likely an âoverdoseâ of progesterone, which is how they used to âinduce menstruationâ in a hurry (i.e. abortion off the books).  She was about 7-8 weeks by her estimation.  He said, GO STRAIGHT HOME, go to bed and stay there.  She walked fast, but nearly collapsed at the curb and my grandmother went out to guide her into the house.  She went to bed, stayed there and bled steadily and heavily for 3-4 days.  She said it was like being very very sick, headaches, nausea, vomiting⌠and then, gone. Â
She never let me forget this and took me to my first NARAL meeting when I was 15 yrs old. Â And here I am today, in my 50sâand I still remember my grandmotherâs scary account; my mother swaying, literally, at the curb, and nearly falling, under the strength of that one shot. Â
How did she get the doctor to do it? She told him, âIf you donât, I will do it myselfââand if you knew my mother, you knew she meant it. Â She would have. Â After all, lots of women she knew had. Â
This is what they want to take us all back to, the fucking middle ages. Â Please remember. Â
My grandmother was a nurse. She, along with a doctor and some other nurses, secretly provided abortions for women before it was legal. She vividly remembers young women coming to the hospital bleeding to death because they attempted to preform abortions on themselves. Women would use needles, coat hangers, bleach, or throw themselves down a flight of stairs. My grandmother remembers how desperate they were; she said that they would rather die than give birth. Many of them had been raped by their husbands. When they came to the hospital, my Grandmother or one of the other nurses would quietly ask them if they wanted to terminate the pregnancy. If they said yes, they would be taken to another room and a surgical abortion would be performed. The doctor and nurses would say that she miscarried. Abortion providers are heros.
I knew Discourse (TM TM) was officially on Twitter, but itâs on reddit officially, too. Thereâs a sub for antis. And a sub for pro shippers! If anyone feels they want to take discourse to reddit, lmao.
They want to force women to have kids then have no help to keep them alive after birth
people will see the word âanimeâ then just completely abandon all critical thinking skills and say the stupidest shit imaginableÂ
âname me one anime that doesnt sexualize minors or is gross about women at any pointâ
did you know that there is literally thousands upon thousands of anime out there and not just the ones youve heard about via memes and that anime is literally just. animation made in japanÂ
its the racism
I feel like people (maybe willfully) dont understand that theres nothing wrong with being attracted to someone who isnt attracted to you back. For example, theres nothing inherently wrong with me, a bi man, being attracted to a lesbian. It only becomes a problem if I persue her after knowing she isnt attracted to me. But people will flip their lids if a man admits to being attracted to anyone who is "clearly a lesbian" đ
yeah but firstly im annoyed by the idea that only lesbians can be butches (as though they own the aesthetics of being a masculine woman lmao) as though men are literally incapable of finding a masculine woman genuinely attractive. you donât need a special gene to recognise that butch women are handsome as fuck.Â
unasked for pursuing is obv a problem but THATS the problem we should be talking about, not the supposed inability of non-cis-lesbians to find butches hot.Â
The real thing weirdo Tumblr purity brigade exclusionist lesbians donât want to admit is that there are women who any person on the street would parse as âbutchâ who are married to men. Happily and of their own free will.
Yeahhhh this is one of the reasons i am highly uncomfy not just with the push from some quarters to take butch/femme away from sapphic folks who arenât exclusively sga, but the more general push to make butch/femme solely related to orientation and the butch/femme framework instead ofâŚyâknowâŚ.presentation and gender performance.
like. I didnât figure out that I wasnât straight/cis until my 20s (for a variety of reasons), but Iâve been clearly masc-leaning since I was a kid - teen!me wouldnât in any way have been out of place marching with Dykes with Bikes in terms of aesthetics, despite the fact that I had no idea that I wasnât straight. I can only imagine how crushed Iâdâve been at 17/18 to be told that the label I thought Iâd finally found that fit the way I wanted to present, the way I hadnât grown out of being a tomboy like everyone said I should, wasnât for me unless I was willing to commit to an orientation that I wasnât sure was right. That I really was a freak, because if I was dressing that way I had to be attracted to women, even though I honestly wasnât sure I was attracted to much of anyone.
(Also coming from a rural community, like. I know lots and lots of women who are happily married to dudes, with kids and a picket fence, who nevertheless are pretty fucking butch. Weâre talking no make-up, trucker hat, short hair, plaid shirt and mens jeans, throwing lumber into the back of their half-ton truck wearing work gloves, showing up to community events in a slightly cleaner pair of jeans with the plaid shirt buttoned up.)
Literally the only reason I identify as female and not nonbinary is because I do so by rural working-class Canadian standards of femininity. Because FOR THAT CULTURE, it is entirely normal to use power tools, get a postsecondary education, wear flannel and jeans, have short hair, drive a big truck, play rough contact sports, swear, use guns, pitch in with farmwork, participate in municipal government, and drink beer.
If I hd to fit suburban middle-class femininity, Iâd riot.
So I read Tumblr debates about what femininity is and how women attracted to men âperform femininity for menâ and I just feel so alienated and confused because this is not the femininity I recognize at allâŚ
âŚand then I go down into the basement of a small town United Church of Canada congregation and immediately fall into a common rhythm with other women putting out coffee and cookies and making knowing eye contact behind the back of a man who acts like he is An Hero for washing one (1) plate, and Iâm like, âOkay yeah, I recognize myself among other women.â
But God forbid we talk about how gender is socially constructed and therefore context-dependent, not a pure emanation from my biological spiritual womanhood or something.
i know i wouldnt be able to handle having kids of my own due to my various traumas and shit but like... i wouldnt really mind... being an uncle or something...
Abled people have seriously skewed the meaning of ârecoveryâ and i am Not About That.Â
Whenever I hear the word mentioned (both on this site and in real life), the conversational subtext is usually âwhen will you/they recover enough to meet the standards of abled society?â As if I, a nuerodivergent person living with chronic pain will one day get up and fit seamlessly into a society not made to accommodate me. (Or as if I have any interest in doing so, which,, HAH. Nope!) Iâm basically resigned to hearing this from abled people by now, but Iâve noticed fellow spoonies getting frustrated about not being able to do stuff that Abled Society says they should and falling into the pit of âwhen Iâm recovered Iâll meet those standardsâ. That is not okay!!
For one, chronically ill and disabled peopleâs lives fit a different pattern than abled people. There is no magical point where all our symptoms vanish and we return to mainstream society â the hint is in the keyword âchronicâ. It means that our condition or illness is a) going to stick around for a long, indeterminable length of time, possible lifelong, or b) recurs frequently or consistently. For example, my autism will never go away and I am completely fine with that, but fluctuating circumstances may mean that I manage the traits better at some times than others. My RLS will never go away either, but unlike autism it isnât constant â I can have weeks, even months, with no symptoms and then suffer for the next six months straight. If I say that Iâm recovering, what I mean is âI just had a symptomatic flare-up that knocked me off my feet but Iâm managing the fallout better and getting back to my version of normalâ NOT âi am now Fully Functioning and able to do bed-linen laundry without pain and suddenly capable of stuff i couldnât do before.â
Secondly, recovery is a personal experience that nobody else can define. Iâve said it already but boy is it worth reiterating: recovery for chronically ill/disabled folks means getting back to OUR individual version of normal, not ANYONE ELSEâS version of normal. This definition is particularly important when talking about anyone who used to be (more) abled because in those cases, recovery can mean finding a NEW version of normal.Â
If someone is in remission for a disease â letâs say cancer, since thatâs a Big Thing â they could end up symptom-free, but that doesnât necessarily mean theyâve recovered. Cancer (both the illness and the treatment of it) puts a huge about of trauma on both the body AND the mind, and they may need to adjust their lifestyle because of that. Expecting your life to go back to 100% normal after an illness/accident is harmful to your mental and physical health and I am SICK of abled society encouraging it.Â
Recovery means understanding what your body and mind needs and learning how to provide it so you can live comfortably/manage your symptoms; NOT so that abled people approve of how you live your life! Just remember thatÂ
Fandom:
Adults: *create a space for other adults*
Minors*: *come into that space*Â
Minors: this isnât a safe space for kids!!
Adults: âŚ..uhh no, itâs not.
Minors: why are you personally attacking me personally?
Adults: âŚ.????????âŚâŚâŚâŚÂ
Minors: I know you want to fuck children
Me: *looks at fic with one character thatâs in his 40â˛s and another thatâs in his 50â˛s, with no children in sight*Â
Me: âŚâŚâŚplease get out of my house
(I still get a lot of responses to this post calling me a pedo and I am t i r e d of this bottom-of-the-barrel quality discourse)
* this obviously doesnât apply to all minors, and to all those minors (like me, when I was your age!) that manage to enjoy and participate in fandom without calling everyone a pedophile, I appreciate you.
Adults: we want to write/draw porn of these fictional adult characters.
Minors: thatâs not appropriate for children.
Adults: yep! thatâs why itâs tagged as explicit and has a warning for mature content and also is tagged for various sex acts in case youâre not into that.
Minors: that type of content makes me uncomfortable.
Adults: we totally get that but thatâs why the tags and warnings are on it.
Adults: look you even have to agree:
This work could have adult content. If you proceed you have agreed that you are willing to see such content.
Adults: so if youâre not into that type of thing then you can just skip over it.
Minors: it make me uncomfortable.
Adults: âŚâŚthen⌠donât⌠read it?
Minors: no.Â
Minors: you should stop writing it.
Adults: no.
JUST FUCKING SAYING
Iâve said it before and Iâll say it again. If youâre old enough to be using the internet unsupervised, then youâre old enough to be learn how to avoid content that upsets you. Adult fans and content creators are not here to be your babysitters.
