My piece for Penstore Talents. I sent a version with the name box, but for this version, I've drawn over it since it's taking quite a lot of space. Also, the last time I finished (or even colored anything) traditionally was almost 10 years ago, so I'm super proud (and surprised) that I even managed to finish this.
Anyway, you can spot this piece from Stockholm metro this spring! Keep your eyes open!
For those who don't know: Ikumi Nakamura is the woman who was senior artist on Bayonetta, and designed the titular character along with Hideki Kamiya. Their greatest moment of bonding was over their insistence that Bayonetta keep her glasses on at all times. Nakamura cannot go to horny jail. She is the warden.
Happy pride month to her and her exclusively
she made a comic about the experience on twitter
happy pride
An Update from back in October I'm surprised wasn't added to this post. lol
I was feeling agitated and artblocked yesterday so I decided to give my brain a rest by watching TV and then the next thing I knew these were in front of me
posterize filter is my new beloved
this pride month we’re all going to be radically pro transgender. or else.
hey so this means radically pro ALL transgender. don’t put limitations on this. all trans people are radically accepted here.

I had a rough day this morning, so I drew this to cheer myself up :)

Night in Day by Thomas Blackshear II
(Please note that this piece is also called Night and Day in several sources, and I cannot find which one is correct. The artist’s own website doesn’t list a title. If anyone sees a definitive source for the title, please share!)
