A pretty little emerald river nestled within the Ozark Scenic River National Park.
A team of combine harvesters near Larned, Kansas.
The road from FairPlay to Canon City is quite picturesque passing as it does through the Pike National Forest. It's beauty however has a few thorns in the form several short vicious climbs that can take an unsuspecting rider unawares.

Lochsa Lodge in the Clearwater National Forest. Unfortunately I showed up before the dining room opened and had to move on.

The horse ranch at the top of White Bird Hill which inspired me to create my latest illustration.
Brownlee Dam in the Hells Canyon Recreation Area marks the spot where the Trans America Bike Trail crosses from Oregon into Idaho.
The Spoke N Hostel in Mitchell where I spent Sunday night during the race.
First night's bivouac at Armitage Park.
The Trans Am field gathered for the start.

The race is almost on! Fans can track the racers live via Trackleader.
The bike fully kitted out and ready to race. I am using the Revelate Viscacha Seatbag, Gas Tank, and Feedbag. The frame-bag is by Porcelain Rocket.
