this pride month remember that all sylveon are trans
Shiny= ftm
Original= mtf
fun fact: dont force ftm and mtf on people, lots of us hate that terminology and it completely ignores nonbinary people
if you dont reblog this youre straight
Not on my fucking watch buddy
iām so tired of seeing cis gayās transphobic shit joke on my dash. like not only are they all so, so boring and uncreative, they all center around genitalia and cissexism and itās just so gross
like thoseĀ āhow gay men see vaginas [picture of a terrifying looking wormās mouth or whatever]ā andĀ ālesbian perks: canāt get pregnantā posts. and every other one thatās literally just the same bullshit
i wish people would just putĀ āi donāt think gay/queer trans peopleās orientations are valid and i will continue to gender people based on whatās between their legs no matter how many times iām told thatās transphobicā in their blog header or something so i would know not to fucking follow them in the first place
Hey my lovely trans brothers, non-binary beauties, intersex angels and all those in between. just a heads up. Gc2b is having a Memorial Day sale. For 20% of 2 items use code MEMORIALDAYSALE20 For 15% off entire order use MEMORIALDAYSALE Valid through 11:59 EST May 30th.
And for those who havenāt created an account yet I recommend you do. Thereās a reward system and by doing little things such as sharing a link on Twitter you can rack up points that lead to further discounts!!Making an account alone gives you 100 pts which gives you 10% off your order!
Reblog to help share the savings. Happy holidays to all. Much love. šš«š
Just got messaged by a pedophile! I suggest you block this person, exa//ctlyq//ua//lityw/itch
Dear people who think itās wrong to allow HRT for children -
Firstly, weāre not talking young children here. If theyāre young, they can be put on puberty blockersĀ which just make it easier later and are totallyĀ reversible.
I figured out I was trans at 13. A month after my first period, so about a month too late to be put on puberty blockers instead.
I didnāt come out for awhile - I was 15 when I came out at school and home.. So 2 years too late to be put on puberty blockers instead.
Do you have any idea how much happier Iād be if I was on HRT?
No, you donāt. I do. And the answer is a whole fuckinā lot.
Iāve known Iām trans for the past 4 years. Iāve gone by the same name for the past 3. Iāve used a binder for the past 3, which boosted my confidence. Iāve had short hair for 2, which boosted my confidence.
But yāknow what fucks me up every month? Periods. Something stopped by T.
Yāknow what fucks me up every day? The fact that in order to be seen as a guy, I have to put on a binder, and it often doesnāt work. That in order to be seen as a guy, Iād have to get rid of my comfort objects. Knowing that if I wear my light blue shirt, Iāll be calledĀ āsheā more just because itās pastel and Iām not otherwiseĀ āobviouslyā a guy. Something that could be fixed by T.
The fact that if Iād realized earlier, and come out right away, I wouldnāt have to deal with half of this because of puberty blockers.
The fact that if I was on T, I wouldnāt have to deal with nearly as much of it.
Denying access to HRT to people just because theyāre minors is wrong. Itās what leads more of us to being uncomfortable. Itās what leads more of us to beingĀ āvisiblyā trans, which leads to us being scared and hurt.
stereotypical characters arenāt the problem
onlyĀ stereotypical characters are
there are real people out there who fit stereotypes
they deserve to be shown
but they shouldnāt be the only ones
Cis people hate the idea of trans people using the bathroom so much Did they find out about the scorpions we keep in our pants those were supposed to be a secret
Some trans guy tips from your dad
Donāt try that mascara/arm hair shit. Iāve been passing for more than a year with short, blond arm hair. Itās not an important secondary sex characteristic.
Board shorts (without pockets in the front) do wonders to minimize the width of your hips. Always choose board shorts over swim trunks. Choose them over cargo shorts if itās appropriate.
Speak from your chest, never from your head.
The goal of binding should not be an entirely flat chest; you should bind for your body type.
GC2b makes the best binders out there, and their products are designed specifically for trans men/transmasculine people.
It might seem useless if youāre pre-T, but working out can be a big help for dysphoria.
Eyebrows are really important to passing pre-testosterone. Muss that shit up. Make them look unkempt.
When you ask for a haircut, make sure the edges in the back are squared, not rounded.
If you have peach fuzz, I would advise shaving it. Cis guys shed theirs when they go through puberty. Shaving can also help with facial hair dysphoria.
Donāt ever buy a binder from Amazon. They run in strange sizes (I was an XXL even though Iām a M in GC2b) and take weeks/months to come. Itās also difficult to breathe in them after a few hours.
@shyguyshiloh @kuchenkat
Spread the word, especially for the board shorts thing!!!!!! They do WONDERS for making hips appear slimmer!!!!!
@cloudstreamer
for my masculine children :-*
Ok true story: I found out I was Trans bc of this post
a few more tips!
wearing guys underwear is a huge confidence boost!Ā
better confidenceābetter postureāsquarer shouldersābetter passing
if at all possible, have at least 2 binders. otherwise, theyāll stretch out quickly and be less comfortable, and not work as well.
unfortunately, pastel colors lead to more misgendering. iāve found that reds work nicely (aka iāve never been misgendered by a stranger while wearing primarily red, but wearing a light blue shirt always has people calling me āsheā)
if/when youāre feeling confident enough and safe enough to use the guys bathroom, do it. itāll be a boost in confidence later (āi did it before and nothing bad happenedā)
shout out to trans people who will never go on HRT
trans people who will never go on HRT because of money
because of a fear of needles
because of unsupportive family
because it isnāt worth the trouble
because unexpected changes are too much
because you just donāt want to
Cis people hate the idea of trans people using the bathroom so much Did they find out about the scorpions we keep in our pants those were supposed to be a secret
