Yknow in all seriousness Astolfo is kind of a badass but so much about his whole rep online is the lol femboy memes and even all this time later that doesn't seem to have changed. But if you look past that and really give them a good look and take note of his characterization he's a really cool character. He personifies the effort of hopefulness, the enduring conviction when faced with what's unjust and unfair. He doesn't like to fight but can and will kill a guy. He will not conform, they will not give up on those he cares about or on themself.

It kinda annoys me how he's been reduced to a joke because anime dudes could not and still cannot get past this character's unorthodox ways of doing gender but there's just so much about them that I love. Yes he's cute/hot/silly but also the themes bro
