This time on a very snowy vacation with some cooking together after a long day!

I'm going to sound dumb ✨ but does anyone else ever wonder if the actors or even the directors (or anyone that participates in the making-of TWD) know the real feelings between the characters on screen? Like I wonder, did anyone ever just KNOW prior to canon, in like s6 that Michonne is falling in love with Rick? Or did they just get in the office one day like "Guys what if we put Rick and Michonne together??" and then they make it happen over a few episodes or however long they want.

Or is it planned for years ahead? Imagine that someone out there just knows that Carol and Daryl are actually in love with eachother and everything that is written around them has some sort of acknowledgement of it even if it's not the point of the scene.. imagine that there is someone out there that just KNOWS but can't tell anyone because they'd face a lawsuit or something. Even AK herself 😭 like does she know what she's gonna do with them or is she just like ?!?!?!? making it up as we go? 😂

I have no experience or knowledge of the TV industry so really this is just a random train of thoughts 😂😂 and a very stupid one at that.

Part 1 When you get tired of waiting for the spin-off...

..so you make your own. In the Sims 4.

So after my post yesterday, you guys gave me all sorts of great points to think about. But one thing that was never mentioned was C0nnie! And that makes me wonder, where does C0nnie fit into the whole narrative for Caryl? How does she even fit into s11 in general. Was she brought back to life so that she can have some grand reunion with Daryl to appeal to D0nners, or is that just going to be glanced over entirely? Is she going to play a major part in Daryl forgiving Carol, since C0nnie was used as a plot device to split them up in the first place, is she also going to bring them back together?

One wild idea I have that I would die for is if C0nnie had a talk with Daryl and helped him realize that Carol is what he wants/needs. We also know that C0nnie and Carol are on good terms and they even like eachother, so it isn't really so far fetched that C0nnie would want the best for both of her friends (Daryl and Carol). It would also kinda redeem the whole cave arc and maybe it'd ease up the amount of hate on Carol after the cave happened.

What do you guys think? Is C0nnie going to play a major role in Caryl (splitting them more apart or bringing them back together)? I would love to hear your opinions!

I come on here to read the Caryl tags every night, and recently I'm seeing a lot of positivity for Caryl to go cannon. Like a MASSIVE amount. But it makes me wonder: Wasn't it always like this? I haven't been in the fandom for a long time, so I haven't witnessed it myself, but seeing Caryl videos on YouTube from 5 years ago or even more, where the comments are also just as old and littered with people claiming that Caryl is going cannon. Like the Terminus reunion, or the beginning of the whole Alexandria arc where Daryl is hooked on Carol, or episodes such as Consumed which is still the best episode of TWD in my humble opinion.

What makes you all so sure that "this time", it will actually go canon? I know back in the day a lot of it had to do with SG abandoning the ship randomly, then AK bringing it from the dead in the recent seasons. But is there any distinct difference that could all lead us to believe that it does have an actual, real chance to go canon this time?

Don't get me wrong, the way the characters are written - if it was real life, I'm 200% sure they'd end up together, because the love would be real. But since it's still a TV show, I have a deep rooted fear that they'll just never make it canon, or absolutely fuck it up for shock value or something. I am just afraid that the storytelling will fail us in favour of some grander marketing scheme. Like not make them canon in S11 so that people have more reason to watch the spin-off in 2023, even tho personally I would be even MORE excited to watch it after they're canon already, because there's still so damn much to explore! It's not the end of all for them to get together.

So if anyone can give me any insight on why it actually has a chance to go canon "this time", like a bigger chance than in the earlier seasons when people were saying the same type of things, please tell me!

I just wish I could have some sort of more factual info to hold onto except for hope alone :(

Hi luvs, I've gotta get this off my chest. I don't mind c0nnie as a character whatsoever, she's an average TWD side character like any other, but what I really dislike are the people that ship d0nnie while absolutely trashing on Caryl.

Now I always have this thought: Imagine if the scenes were reversed, and there was c0nnie talking to Daryl about running off to New Mexico together or any other Caryl scene but insert c0nnie instead, all d0nners would lose their mind and go absolute apeshit (for the lack of a better word), spam everyone about how they were right and how they're so good together and it's so romantic that Daryl wants to run away with her.

Meanwhile, if it's Carol, all of them are just like OMG BFFs, such friendship, mmmm... Like don't y'all see how hypocritical that is? Daryl and c0nnie have like 15 minutes of screentime together with merely a few interactions, while Caryl has hours, season after season, entire episodes about them..

If you're gonna say that Daryl and Carol have nothing more happening between them, then you can't in your right damn mind think that Daryl and C0nnie have any sort of potential. That is all I wanted to say.

I'm not even gonna start on the whole mom-son thing that some people preach, that's just ageist AF.
