When you are in a different country that speaks a different language and if remembering directions isn’t your thing then going out and about can get a little tricky. Fear no more because we now have apps like Uber and GrabTaxi to help us get a cab without worrying about how we’re going to communicate with the cab drivers or knowing where we are headed to. Uber is just a life-saver, you just set your pick-up and drop-off locations and compares fares to have your pick of the driver. You will need to use PayPal or credit card for payment. But if that’s not convenient for you then we have the second option, well, it’s only available in South East Asia at the moment. GrabTaxi is a really good substitute for Uber, you get fast service and can make cash payments at the end.
5) WebMD
Getting sick while on vacation can be a huge downer. So to be on the safer side you will need your doctor on speed dial. Well, WebMD’s app helps you with that. With features like symptom checker, detailed information regarding conditions and even drugs and treatments for ailments. The app also comes with a handy First Aid essentials guide and a helpful listing of local hospitals, doctors and pharmacies around you. The entire place is connected by the wooden walkway, set on stilts over the sea, giving it a rustic ambience. The planks are set slightly apart, so you can steal peeks at the glistening turquoise waters beneath.
