parings: Sophia x fem!reader
Warnings: fluff, use of Y/n, kind of a slow burn, cute, long term relationships, and kissing. Also implied black reader, I don't really think it matters but yea.
Synopsis: Sophia and Y/n going a date down by the dock.
Kati: hi, hi. so ik I went missing, I lost motivation after deleting my story twice but I'm back! Also kinda short, this is not the story I was supposed to be publishing I just really wanted to do this. Also I have a girlfriend, yayyy! Also most of everything in this fic will be based on the things she does for me.
Sophia and Y/n had been dating for almost two years a few months at this point. They loved each other so much even with Sophia being in Katseye and being busy all the time she always made time for Y/n. Sophia also loved giving Y/n gifts, little hand written notes, flowers, Calla lilies Y/n's favorite, random pieces of jewelry, and sometimes even little chocolates. On their first anniversary Y/n bought both of them matching promise rings, Sophia thought that it was so cute and thoughtful.
Sophia and Y/n wear their rings everywhere rarely ever taking it off. Sophia loves how thoughtful Y/n is of her, always sending her cute tik toks saying that they "reminded me of you." Sometimes Sophia couldn't watch all of them, because of obvious reasons, but she always tried to reply to every one of them. Even if that means just hearting the message, it always makes Y/n feel loved and appreciated.
After a long day of rehearsals Sophia came home wanting to do nothing but get in the shower, eat, and cuddle for the rest of the night. But Y/n had other plans, soon as Sophia walked through the door Y/n was all over her. "Hi baby, how was your day today?" Y/n says basically dragging her through the door and placing small kisses on her face.
Sophia just smiled, oblivious to what all the extra affection was all about. "Hi my love, my day was good." Sophia responded leaning in to every kiss. " That's so good." Sophia nodded in response and set down her bag on the kitchen counter top.
"What's with the burst of affection? Did you miss me today?" Sophia asks teasingly. Y/n just smiles. "I mean think what you would like." Sophia gasps playfully. "So you didn't miss me?"
Y/n shrugs. "Okay baby, seriously I have a surprise." Sophia lets out a small huff. "A surprise?"
Y/n nods and repeats. "A surprise." Sophia walks over to the fridge and opens it. "Give me a hint." She grabs a water bottle and opens it and takes a sip. "Hmmmm." Y/n said pretending to think about it. "No." Sophia closes the cap of her water bottle and groans. "Not even a small hint?"
"Nope." Y/n responds crossing her arms. "Babyyyy." Sophia whines. "Pleaseeee." Sophia begged with the cutest pout ever, but still Y/n didn't give in. "Noooo." Y/n said back dragging out the words just like Sophia did.
"Fine." Sophia said with a small huff. Y/n smiled. "Okay baby go get dressed now." Sophia groans. "Now? I just got home." Y/n shrugs. "I know, but it is a really good surprise. So please." Y/n grabs Sophia's hand and leads her to their shared bedroom, without waiting for a response from Sophia.
"Do I have to wear something fancy? Because I am not in the mood for a dress." Sophia said walking into their closet. "No, you can wear some jeans or shorts if you want."
Sophia mutters a small "thank God" under her breath. "Hurry up, I want to be there at a specific time." Y/n says rushing Sophia. "Okay, okay." Sophia responds with a small roll of her eyes.
Twenty minutes later both of them are dressed and ready. "Okay, let's go baby." Y/n said, grabbing Sophia by her arm and dragging her out the front door. "Wait, wait." Sophia said pulling the opposite direction. "The door isn't locked."
Y/n rolls her eyes. "Hurry up." Sophia grabs the key out of her pocket and locks the door. "Okay now we can go." Y/n once again takes Sophia hand into hers and drags her to the car. "Get in the passenger seat, I don't want to spoil the surprise."
Sophia does as told, "Wow, the one and only Y/n driving. This surprise must be really important." Y/n rolls her eyes at the sarcasm. "Actually yes it is."
Thirty minutes later they arrive at their destination. Y/n gets out the car first, then she walks over to the other side of the car and opens the door for Sophia.
Sophia smiles and gets out the car. "Wow I feel like a little princess, is that what you feel like every time I open the door for you."
Yln shrugs. "Not really I've gotten use to it. Okay but close your eyes now." Sophia obeys once again and closes her eyes, Y/n walks behind her and cover her eyes just to be sure.
"okay now walk." Sophia walked for about three minutes, she heard the sound of water and bugs. "Okay open them." Sophia did, just to see the dock where Y/n first asked her to be her girlfriend. Sophia smiles. "Baby, are you serious?!"
Y/n nods. Sophia pulls you into a hug. "I love you."
"I love you more." Replied Y/n
After a while they ended up sitting side by side on the edge of the dock with their shoes kicked off as well as their sock, as their feet dangle into the water.
Y/n head rests on Sophia's shoulder and Sophia's head rest on top of hers. Sophia let's out a competent sigh.
They sit there together for almost four hours laughing, smiling, telling old stories, and of course occasionally small kisses.
After the laughter died down Sophia spoke, "You know all I really wanted to do was lay in bed tonight. But I think this is better."
"Yeah." Sophia says in response.
Y/n smiles and let's out a small hum.
After another hour they head home, shower together, eat some pizza, fruit, and went to bed both deeply inlove.
