I mostly look at my interests! I like seeing what others post in regards to those interests and their wonderfully creative ideas!! I do art and shit-posting mostly but eventually I dip my toes back into fanfic writing.

I think Chief's HUD should still mark Flooded allies as friendly due to the basic nature of IFF tags and also they should deliver fun knowledge to him like name, rank, etc.

Quick ramble-y thoughts about Halo:

The Precursor’s knowledge Engine custodial Entity being named Abaddon. Like it’s a weirdly fitting name for what it is and what its ‘job’ is. Or it’s situation? However you wanna describe it.

It’s all very theological but depending on the interpretation of it, It is a destructive, higher being[to the forerunners] that resides in the bottomless pit[The Domain]. Tasked to oversee it by it’s makers/species and Banished to remain there by the Forerunners after the Array was fired.

It was judging the Forerunners for the activation of the Array.

We know Halo uses a lot of Religious motifs in the story and characters.

I can definitely tell they were trying to match her design to be a sort of mix for Combat evolved Cortana, Halo 2 and her most recent designs from 4-Infinite. I don't hate it but I do dearly miss Halo 2's Cortana

The little details like this do bring me joy. It gives us just a bit more perspective of the Alien/covenant tech. Was curious about the ship controls to some of their smaller ships and now I have the answer. Its the attention to detail to make this set up fitted for an alien 7-8ft tall on average. They've shown these kinds of details off a few things. They're minor but I do quite like them.

A huge point of Contention with the Last revamp of Combat evolved was the lack of atmospheric art direction. and I could definitely agree. This time, they put a lot more detail into the atmosphere. Not just of this level but so far all of them. There's more noises and the harsh lighting or softer lighting depending on the situation. I have the Contrast a bit raised but It's cool they're visually telling us this story. For new players of the game who haven't encountered the flood before, this is visually some good story telling.
