40 y/o white guy: Hey kid, ever hear about Rage Against the Machine? They really told it like it is! Fuck you I won’t do what you tell me!
me: Zack de la Rocha is Mexican Tom Morello is black Brad Wilk is jewish
40 y/o white guy: blue lives matter
RATM: Some of those that work forces, are the same that burn crosses
40 y/o white guy that claims he likes RATM: blue lives matter
Was it Paul Ryan that claimed to be a RATM fan? Like, nationally? In public? On TV? And then RATM came out and shut him down?

White privilege in full display.
Before the computing era, ILM was the master of oil matte painting, making audiences believe that some of the sets in the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogy were real when they weren’t. They were the work of geniuses like Chris Evans, Michael Pangrazio, Frank Ordaz, Harrison Ellenshaw and Ralph McQuarrie ! Forever thank you, to their handmade art and the work of their colleagues, that made us dream of impossible worlds and fantastic places across Earth and the Universe.
There are more background paintings on this article, featuring comments by the masters/artists themselves !
Some of the following pieces were made by other artists 2:
exCUSE ME?!?!!??!??! TheYRE PAINTINGS?!??!!?!
SHUT UP I thought they were miniatures!!!!
It’s too beautiful. I could cry.
I love this because I’ll be watching a movie and think “how did they do that? Is that a building they built for this movie? Was it there beforehand? Is it cardboard or CGI? Is that actually some place on Earth that they’re filming?” And the answer to all of these now is “nope, that’s a painting”. I can’t believe some of the most iconic, familiar shots were paintings!
If you feelin’ like a pimp Jedi, go and brush your shoulders off..

Diana: Don’t get me wrong, I love a gratuitous shirtless scene, I live for it, I dies for it, but who in the shirtless scene department at Disney said, okay, we need a shirtless scene, we got Oscar Isaac, we got John Boyega and we got Adam Driver and they decided people were dying for those Adam Driver abs. And don’t get me wrong, Adam Driver is oddly handsome, he’s not traditionally handsome but I get why people are into him. Oscar Isaac and John Boyega are unconditionally good looking though and Kylo Ren got the shirtless scene?
Andrew: I’m okay with it because I feel like Oscar Isaac and John Boyega are traditionally handsome but not like superhero abs kind of built and I like Adam Driver’s sexy dad bod.
Diana: Fair enough, but I couldn’t stop laughing because the whole time the scene was happening I was thinking about the SNL sketch where Kylo Ren’s on Undercover Boss and he’s Matt the Radar Technician and he tells everyone, “I hear Kylo Ren’s shredded. I hear Kylo Ren has an eight pack.”
Andrew: It’s like the sketch was real and he’s just walking around the ship with no shirt on going, “See, Kylo Ren does have an eight pack. Kylo Ren is shredded.”

First review I have found that I agree with
What the fuck.
If a grown ass man is in prison for molesting a child he deserves the right to vote?! No he fucking doesn’t. He deserves death.
I forgot that the American prison system only houses sexual predators who prey on children and doesn’t unjustly lock up millions of American’s for low level, non violent property and drug crimes. I also forgot that it’s impossible to design a system that delivers nuanced punishments that account for the severity of a crime and the potential impact on voting.
Also, it’s amazing to me that people that say stuff like this (and most of the comments on this post, check em out) probably were bending over backwards to justify giving a child molester a senate seat just a few days ago.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO LONG OMG
IT’S THE FAMOUS POST SEEN ONLY IN SCREENCAPS
🚨 The FCC plans to kill net neutrality on December 14 🚨
It’s real simple: ISP lobbyists are pushing the FCC to kill net neutrality so phone and cable companies can block apps, slow down websites, and charge fees to control what you see and do online.
Our only chance is congressional pressure and legislative action. But we need grassroots support. Tell your representatives that you support “Title 2” rules and ask for their help protecting a free and open internet.
Go to Battle For The Net to be connected to your congresspeople.
By removing power over health care from employers and spouses, and replacing unequal tiers with one unified insurance pool, we could fund our health-care system with progressive taxes. That way, we could guarantee everyone the care they need, and make it free at the point of service. Ability to pay, pre-existing conditions, employment status, and gender would cease to be barriers. Building Medicare for All — with robust guarantees for tougher-to-access services like abortion and gender affirming care — would force American society as a whole to address the care disparities women face.
