F2F: Trent | Grocery Run Ins

[Mack nodded, waiting patiently as Trnet pulled out his phone to double check he had her number, smiling when he rattled it off.] “Yeah, that’s it!” [She answered, nodding when he said his hadn’t changed. She was fairly certain she still had his number, she wasn’t one to delete her contacts - but she pulled out her phone to double check she still had it, putting her phone away the moment she saw his name was in fact still there.] “I still have your number. I know what you mean about Facebook, I don’t even check mine anymore - I occasionally get emails about the notifications, or my mom texts me about tagging me on Facebook weeks ago and not checking it, but, otherwise I really don’t touch it.” She told him. “I tend to get back to my text messages fairly quickly, the only faster ways to reach me are calling or showing up on my doorstep.” She told him, “and if I forget, just spam my inbox, you’re allowed to, I don’t mind. I have unlimited texting anyway.”
[Trent offered Mack a bright grin when she confirmed that he had the right numer still, looking more than glad to hear it. He tucked his phone back into his pocket as she kept speaking, laughing at the next words and shaking his head a little.] “Seriously? That’s...Kinda impressive, that she’d text you that she tagged you in something instead of just y’know...Actually telling you whatever it was she tagged you in. But I guess that’s the facebook culture.” [Trent pursed his lips a little in thought, wondering if he actually sounded a little like the elderly that complained about their generation, or if that was just his imagination] “But I’ll keep that in mind, definitely. I’m a big fan of texting too. That way if someone’s busy you’re not some huge intrusion and it’s easy to check and all that.” [He grinned a little at her, his next words teasing and playful with the familiarity that they’d once had] “But who knows? Maybe I’ll spam you anyways, just for fun. You’re welcome to do the same for me, of course.”
