"ooooh nooooo but a rail strike around the holidays could cripple the economy" damn sounds like their labor is really really important and you should give them what they fucking want
Are you working towards your dreams
Omg no I’m not!!! But thank you for asking
Truly hate the way "did this person do something that actually harmed someone" and "do they deserve to be unpersoned for it" are considered the same question
"Do you support [person]?" is the kind of binary question that comes out of an atomized social landscape where people do not get to practice thinking about how many kinds of support there are

Showing this post to Jerry Seinfeld and he jumps off the Brooklyn bridge
gotta say, not a fan of how the US is pumping out feel-good anti-racist propaganda about its bloodiest and most criminal wars in asia while it's trying to drum up popular support against china
the message is very transparently "everyone has a place in the imperial death machine"
you can't make inspirational movies about the korean war. literal millions of civilians died. 10% of the entire population was killed, with a rate of civilian casualty higher than WW2
the US spent so much money ensuring it was "the forgotten war" in the west, only to try and plaster over the blank space as they chomp at the bit to do it again
wait for it…
