At 2 am...

after a night of:

starting rounds & office time early because of-->

2 hours of Greek bidding

2 ambulance calls because of-->

innumerable (and mostly underage) students tipsy/rowdy/seriously bad shape

extra rounds because of all of the above

I am

except for the 2 AWESOME RA buds who stuck with me through it all--

and our awesome ADRL who stood outside the office just to be vaguely intimidating and help back us up for 2 hours.

and now the emergency-induced adrenaline has mostly warn off and I'm exhausted, but there's just enough adrenaline to not be able to fall asleep...

last year all the RAs had to answer these questions so we could put a get to know you board of all of us in the lobby and one of the questions was “what’s one piece of advice you can offer to incoming freshmen” and I really wanted to put “don’t be an asshole” but I figured that would be inappropriate. But I think i’ll do it this year cause lbh its great advice.

proudest RA moment because I realized it was too good to not say (even though ill advised): telling freshmen "don't be that punk ass freshman everyone hates". it was our first meeting. and they were still punk ass freshmen, they were just scared of me. #RA winning
