I love Grace being in a loving cross species relationship with his married space aliens.

I love Grace and Simon in a relationship and Rocky wondering what his human best friend is doing with that mutated fish.

I love Grace, Simon, Rocky, and Adrian all being sweet friends just trying to understand each other, heal, and be happy.

I love Rocky and Adrian trying to get their human friends to fall in love.

I keep seeing videos of people complaining about the tech that Peter has in bnd, but are we forgetting that the guy dumpster dives?

Literally one of the first things we learn about Peter in his introduction to the mcu is that he builds his own tech with older tech he finds in the trash, the weird 3d printer we see him use is literally made with the deconstructed parts of the sewing machine from the end of nwh. Not to mention that what we see is very scrappy and full of wires and random shit just added on because Peter cares more about the functionality of his tech rather than it looking spiffy.

Like Peter is canonically a genius, it's why he gets bullied in the comics, it makes sense that he would've upgraded all of his technology to make his life easier. It's how he built his web shooters and developed his web fluid and built his own ai. People yearn for a character only to then complain about it

My favourite part about the handshake at the end of Brand New Day is that Peter chooses it. It's not just a muscle memory thing that catches them both off guard - there's a pause just before Peter shifts his grip, and then the handshakes changes and the muscle memory kicks in.

We know Peter stays away from Ned and MJ because he thinks their lives will be safer, even better without him. But I wonder if there's also a part of him that dreads starting from scratch - if the spell truly can't be broken, reconnecting with Ned and MJ would be so painful. He lost everyone, and if they chose to leave him again, how would he cope? So he stays away and tells himself it's for the best, even while he yearns to be with them.

And I imagine that fear would have only grown after MJ admitted that she didn't love him!! How crushing to learn that the woman you've been pining for all these years has no memory of you at all? What if your best friend has also forgotten you forever?

But MJ sees this broken guy who has been alone for a long time, and thinks of her roommate and his search for Spider-Man, and she quietly prods Peter to come back into their lives. She invites him into the apartment and shows him that while Ned might not remember, he has been missing his best friend all these years. Then she gives Peter something that he didn't get with her: she gives him the chance to choose his loved ones. And eventually, Peter reaches out to shake Ned's hand.

As a chronic people-pleaser, this is my advice for success.

Offer as little as possible. Be terse. Get rid of all those exclamation marks and tidbits about why you want to take a sick day. State your needs clearly and concisely without reason. Start saying “No, I’m unable.” more often. Say Thank You only when the other party deserves it.
