Here’s the thing, my handle is Trinity Santos does no wrong, but I’m not naive to believe that she actually does no wrong. She is young and traumatized and talented- she does a lot wrong. I also know that some people refuse to see the good parts of her and only see the bad, and on the flip only see the good in some of her counterparts. People are weird about her. Isa and Patrick said it themselves in their glamour interview that people hated santos s1 for the same reason the loved Langdon. The weirdness around her and the way ppl talk about her character has always bugged me.

So, regardless of how wrong she may be I will defend her. I will defend the others as well bc the whole point of the show is to show just how bad it is for ER workers. You won’t catch me defending Monica though, fuck ICE boomer.

There are only two people I’m not worried about in the ED right now and that is Cassie McKay and Donnie. The rest of them are on suicide watch I’m so fucking serious 😭

Cassie is having a terrible day bc of a very depressing case and she is still the most sane put together person there. And Donnie, well I don’t need to explain my faith in him do I?

911 post about this latest episode regarding Evan Buckley getting addicted to drugs

It will never cease to piss me off that Oxy was so pushed and marketed as safe for so long.

Five weeks isn’t a lot of time but it is such and addictive substance like that tv doctor said. I’m glad they did it like this so quick though because that’s how it happens. My grandmother got addicted after being prescribed it and would take more than she needed and be high as shit out at dinner and I remember my family being so mad at her. I was just worried the whole time. Thankfully my grandmother was pretty old and couldn’t go out looking for more meds and went through a nasty little withdrawal and it was all done with so quickly. I just say that bc I’m grateful that that is how 911 chose to show the progression for Buck. A lot of shows have long drawn out addictions which is also very very honest and true. Everyone has a different story. But ultimately I’d kill Big Pharma if I could they will be the first to go when the guillotines come out

This episode made really clear that there is a split in the way Trinity is viewing Langdon.

On one hand he’s an asshole who she lowkey protected

On the other he is an addict.

But the thing is, so is she. Self harm is addicting and when you speak about it you use the same terms. She keeps saying things about his addiction less bc she is mad about that, she’s more mad about him being mean, but bc she is feeling the same itch of relapse and knows what it’s like
