Parker babysitting pup!Den while Trinity is at work...
He's had a hard week at work and Trinity knows he needs to be a little puppy for a while, but she doesn't want him to be alone.
"Please, babe?" Trinity leaned her head against Parker's shoulder. "He's usually a good boy, he doesn't bite anymore. Just play with him for a while until he gets sleepy. I just need someone to make sure he eats and gets cuddles."
"You want me to cuddle your roommate-brother-puppy thing?" Parker sighed deeply. "You're lucky I love you."
Dennis isn't being a good boy. He's loud, grumpy, and whiny. It takes Parker hours to calm him down enough to cuddle him. He's pawing at her while she tries to sleep, begging for more pets.
Trinity comes home to find her best friend curled up on top of her girlfriend, snoring lazily against her neck.
"He was not a good boy," Parker whisper-hissed. "And he does bite."
"I said he's usually a good boy. Sometimes he gets grumpy." Trinity kisses the faint bite mark on the side of Parker's hand. "Thank you for watching him, I can take him now."
Trinity moved to pick Dennis up, but Parker shoo'd her away.
"I just got him to sleep," Parker ran her fingers through the puppy's hair until he stopped stirring. "Don't want my hard work to go to waste."
Trinity dragged her blankets over and curled up next to the couch, falling asleep as close to the two most important people in her life as possible.
