Sometimes I'm asked if I agree with Julian. Sometimes there is no yes or no answer. I think he is brave. Sacrificial almost.

You can't win against such a machine like government. Do we have the right to know what our democratically elected government is doing... yes.

But, maybe  this misses another point: should a government act in the interests of its citizens - of course. Is it in those citizens best interest for private matters of state to be broadcast...? Sometimes not.

Sometimes you need to trust that the people have elected the government to make their best decisions. Even though its hurts me to say that. Often these decisions are misguided, misjudged or misunderstood.

But, maybe the bigger issue is how do we design a better democratic system...?
