hi. this is an aradia megido. looking for my sollux captor, terezi pyrope, and john egbert. there's also some tavros in here, but i haven't remembered everything about them yet. i was thin and tall, you used to make fun of how i was "200% leg". i grew out of archaeology a bit with time, but i still loved adventuring. i was fascinated with mortality, especially with the rate at which lowbloods died compared to highbloods. you were a transgirl, but you came out pretty late. you never really cared to understand gender or correct people who used the wrong pronouns at the start. you had your hair kind of like terezi's for a time, before growing it out into two braids. specific memories: i would just stare at you sometimes. you would ignore me. i was studying your face to memorize it. i think i was somewhat red or pale for you. we were a sort of three musketeers type set with terezi. i remember less about her as of now, other than that we helped her a lot through her flings with vriska. we used to play some sort of open world game with some of the highbloods and you would turn yourself invisible and then blow everyone's stuff up. i thought it was funny. terezi threatened to arrest you, but you got her to "TURN 4 BL1ND 3Y3." i was also very good friends with john, who i believe was also a transgirl. her had a really, really hard time with it and i was very good at cheering her up. we liked watching indiana jones movies a lot, and i think the two of us made a shoddy home movie at one point. tavros was always very kind. he seemed to have moments where he got excited enough or into flarping enough that he'd be confident for a second, and then he'd catch himself and deflate. after the vriska stuff, he secluded himself from almost everybody for a bit. i messaged him on trollian a lot, but he had really short answers. i miss him a lot. everybody godtiered. not sure if we met the alphas or the postscratch trolls, or if they were there at all. i think we played the game later. like, reply, reblog or dm me if this is familiar. anon is on if you have questions. i miss you all. see you soon.

Yesterday I went to dinner to catch up with my buddy from the math department, and he told me this story about how he ran the city marathon in 2 hours, 59 minutes. That’s an amazing time. He was 19th out of thousands. 

He was doing pretty well for the first half, but then his ankle started to hurt. He slowed down for a bit, but then this girl he passed before passed him, and he started overthinking whether or not it was awkward to pass the same person multiple times, and, like, what if they small-talked about it? He decided it was better to pass her and stay ahead, so he picked up the pace. A few miles later, he fell in with two dude-bros who started talking to him. Not pleased to find himself in the company of dude-bros, he pulled ahead once again. This continued for a while; every time he got closed to a group of other marathoners, his social anxiety kicked in and he ran faster because he felt nervous being near people. 

TL;DR A mathematician ran an record marathon to avoid making small-talk with randos. He introverted his way into qualifying for the Boston marathon.

hey i was thinking maybe the motive in the sudden swapkin increase is that since hs is over, people spend less time waiting for updates and combing for memories, looking at meta or trying to put together their own timeline with the source text. because of this, people have more time to think freely about their kinhood and memories through a creative eye, and feel more freedom to diverge from canon because they're no longer searching for answers there. people tend to worry (from my perspective, at least!) about their memories being specific and separate from the source, and never finding canonmates. as someone who's been swapkin for a white, i can understand the feeling. however, due to people thinking more and more about the possibility of swap timelines, and more people confirming, it's become a bit of a movement. anyway, this is just my thoughts. let me know what you think. hash tag game theory, you know?

hello, i'm john lalonde, and i want to find some of my friends. i know that, as for the kids, it was jade egbert, dave harley, rose strider, jake crocker, dirk english, roxy strider, and jane lalonde. as for the trolls, the only one i know for certain is that karkat was karkat maryam, and we were together. i'm open to talking to anyone, and any troll bloodswaps are welcome too since i'm not certain who is who. as for me, i loved ghost hunting, didn't wear my glasses, and has a purple scarf.
