Very soon I will finally finish my fanfic. I have already written the main part. I just need to correct a few things.
It was funnier in my head.
I personally haven't seen anyone seriously discuss this dialogue, although I find it quite interesting and possibly important for understanding Caesar's character. Marcus doesn’t say anything like that about other factions in New Vegas.
The Master and Caesar, in order to avoid a new war that would destroy humanity, both sought to change human nature in different, yet inhumane, ways, and both were doomed to failure. Of course, I don't think they're exactly the same and I haven't finished the first game yet to be completely sure, but it's good food for thought.
doodling shit
My mistake was that I didn't just take one photo and use it as a reference like a normal person.
Saying all art is political because you can find a way to argue your political opinions through it is the same as saying all art is fetish because someone out there has a kink for whatever the art is depicting. You see the problem.

I had an idea for an AU where circumstances conspire to allow Autumn to conceal his involvement in James's death. The grief-stricken lone wanderer is brought to a cell. Autumn initially wants to torture the password out of him, but decides to try another approach: trust. He awkwardly recounts how hae himself lost his father, how he suffered from it, and assures him that the Enclave will be able to complete the project. After the conversation, the wanderer tells the password himself. Could this awaken repressed paternal instincts in the Colonel? Would he then want to bring the orphan a magazine or a book to ease his boredom in the cell? I know it sounds rather naive, but Autumn is a rather empty character, so it's not like it's completely out of character.
still working on the big talon company post so here’s some burke doodles in the meantime
probably the first and last time i’ll draw autumn unless i’m forced to LOL so enjoy it while it lasts. really tho i just wanted to talk abt smth i’ve been working on for my post-canon and wanted visuals.
so here’s the idea. to preface. i do rework a couple things in my fo3 canon. i won’t get into everything, but in the moment autumn injects himself w that serum, james notices and grabs him, doing his best to bring autumn down w him. with the last of his strength, james stabs autumn in the eye with the syringe before collapsing. autumn, having at least injected part of it (but not all), lives but passes out. fast forward to the final confrontation—autumn is ghoulifying and hiding it from everyone, and leon calls him out on it. after another exchange that involved autumn taking out his own guards before they could react to the news, it ends w leon shooting autumn in the head. in the chaos of everything going on, an enclave soldier is able to save a piece of autumn’s brain and—in an effort to not lose him—the enclave is able to upload his consciousness to a computer. that said, the enclave themselves don’t really trust autumn anymore. kept around like it’s a favor. so while he may seem more like eden now, he has none of the power.
It's a rather controversial take, but I like Alphonse more than Jonas, because despite all his flaws, he at least has something resembling a personality and an internal conflict, like the torn between his position as an overseer and his love for his daughter. Plus, he allows for a "freedom vs safety" dilemma (the wasteland is still full of raiders, slavers, super mutants, and the vault guards struggle with radroaches), which is probably cliched, but not bad. Jonas is just a nice guy who needs to die to raise the stakes.
impossible sequence.

I haven't drawn for a long time. He deserves better, but what I have is what I have.
