This thing is almost exactly what Tower of Babel does in yugioh. It reminded me anyway.
Ok maybe not but the 4 counters being triggered by spells thing reminded me of it.
under the cherry trees me and my son
Hey, idk how to tell you this, but I think your son is floating?
So there’s this story lingering in my head that I think I heard a long time ago, and I can’t find it. I wanna paraphrase it here in case anyone can find a lead. It’s about a man who adopts and loves a wild animal despite warnings from everyone around him that’s it’s dangerous.
It goes something like:
One day, while in the mountain, a hiker met a young injured wolf in the snow. He took it home and began to care for it.
His wife said “When that wolf grows up, it will kill you”
“I would love him all the same.” He wasn’t deterred. He treated its wounds.
His neighbor said “that wolf is wild! It will kill you”
“I would love him all the same.” He wasn’t deterred. He raised it.
His town said “that animal is dangerous! It will eat you”
“I would love him all the same.” He wasn’t deterred. He trained it.
Years later, he and the wolf were hiking in the mountain, when a blizzard hit. They got lost, and supplies were running out. They were cold and hungry, and while the two were dying, the man blacked out.
After a while, a bit of consciousness returned to him. When he opened his eyes, he saw the wolf was chewing on his side.
He cried
“Thank god,” he said. “Thank god one of us will get to live…”
Anyway, that’s how I remember it going. I don’t know what the moral is, and honestly, the moral feels like it’s in some grey area. It feels like a story of love no matter what, but it also feels like metaphor for a problematic one sided relationship. I’m sure there’s more nuances to make it more clear from the source material.
I would appreciate if you could help me find the story, or where you heard it yourself. Theres a chance I might have came up with it myself. If that were the case, it was so long ago I had tricked myself into thinking it wasn’t mine. But that’s a very slim chance, so I’m trying to look into it here.
Stay vigilant aces! We can't let the bots get away with this! (Credit u/Cyrromatic on reddit)

I just want y’all to know that one time during lockdown I played a lot of Minecraft because I had nothing better to do and then later I was going to go into my room after a shower so I could go back to being a hermit but it was dark so I just thought “oop, can’t go in there, there’ll be skeletons spawning there and they’ll shoot at me”
And for LIKE FIVE WHOLE SECONDS I didn’t question it and I just turned on the lights and walked out into the living room to wait it out, just thankful I had my pajamas on already so I didn’t have to fight off the shooty skeletons in my dark closet where there might be some creepers too
And then all of a sudden I was like “Wait what the frig skeletons aren’t real” and then just went back into my room
And I think about that a lot. So if ANY OF YOU dare to think that I have any more than three and a half braincells on a really good day, just please remember this and know that you are sorely mistaken
When tears of the kingdom came out, I was playing it so much that when visiting a college, I needed to get up to the next floor, but instead of going to the stairs, I looked at the ceiling for a few seconds trying to calculate where I should use ascend.
That post about death note being "everyone's first anime" (untrue statement) made me curious and now I want to gather data for science
Can you reblog this and tell me where are you from and what was your starter anime?
America and Pokémon, followed by Dragonball, then technically a lot of other stuff. The first anime that I registered as anime was SAO
Hey I’m back a lot changed in life but it’s getting back on track
I had realized that none of the hunting grounds are mapped, as in like top down see where things are. I may give working on that a go.
Wtf is this I wanted the monster hunter free version?
Crochetblr, help me out. Is “sc 2, inc, sc2, inc” saying, “make a single crochet, make another single crochet, make an increase crochet, (repeat)” or is it saying something else?
Solved, it indeed was the first idea I had.

Zelda in the moon…
I’m trying to learn to crochet. I’m currently making the yeti wooble and next I’m going to make lgbtq hearts.
My take on the whole alien thing is that I believed they exist, there’s no way we are the only life ever, but that I would be surprised if they actually were here.
Not only because we were oblivious to it, but that they would actually care to investigate or interact with us. But if they’re that technologically superior and stealthy, then sure, we totally could have missed it if we can’t even comprehend how a truck sized tic tac can even float, let alone move like that.
And I guess we may be just as crazy news to them, “Andromeda government confirms we have found another planet with life!”
Other than keeping an eye on the news, everything stays normal for me, at least until more info goes public. I still don’t know whether it’s gonna turn out as “it was all a hoax” or “the most important moment in human history.”
So until either of those happen, nothing changes.
I know everyone is sharing this but this meme was on point when it predicted how we’d be.
Koroks don’t deserve how they are treated.
Players all feel like the koroks are evil for having put you through finding all of them.
You put yourself through that.
They all were minding their own business, just vibing. You put yourself through the torture to meet all of them and then blamed them for having caused the pain you inflicted upon yourself.
You made your own monster
“Oh but they’re needed for 100%”
Well no one forced you to get 100%. That decision was still yours to make. No one has to 100% anything, and the koroks are not designed to all be found, they’re designed to be abundant enough for you to find them everywhere. This isn’t a spiritomb from legends arceus. You don’t need them all.
If you don’t like it, don’t do it.
By the way, I haven’t actually done it in either game yet but I plan on it for totk. However, I know who is to blame, and I am (and ocd is) to blame.
