The mention of his name is , perhaps , what causing the large beast to lower its head , reacting as if he knows what or who he is before . Before the blonde can even say any more of her words , the beast had already escape down into the night - - - unknowing to her , that beast that was hunting down the men who had initially hurt her . It … left her clueless , as to why he really didn’t attack her instead just fleeing down into nowhere . Would that beast comes back to find her ? She was not so sure of it yet .
Escaping into the silent realm of darkness , those men had found themselves to end up in a places they believe to be ( at least ) safe from a supernatural creature . They had thought her to be dead in the hand of that beast - - - little did they know they were being HUNTED .
The surrounding at the park seems pretty safe - knowing they are far away from that scene . Not a single man was seen to walk around here , and not even some classic drama couple who is willing to make out in the park . . and that is a relieve for these men .
A sense of discomfort exist all of the sudden . They never knew why or what might have caused it . One of them had told his friend that ‘ it seems that we're not alone ' , as if there rested a pair of hungry eyes watching their every move … And only waiting the perfect time to feast them .
❝ You wait right here , I'm gon' check around . ❞ The first man told him , giving a light clap on his friend's chest .
❝ Wait , you're going to leave me ? What if that thing is following us ? ! ❞ Panic response comes fast , still unsure with his idea to go wander around alone .
❝ That thing already got the beaut' ! And we're already far from 'em . Stop worrying too much . ❞
How long had he been like this, was the first viable thought to cross his mind in what was likely hours of hunting and maiming and feasting. Richtofen lied splayed out on the floor beside a basin he’d readily puked his guts out into just prior. His body trembling from the exhausting experience of shifting painfully back and forth between the animal and himself. Tear stains streaked down his cheeks muddling with blood stains, his clothes in shreds and his pride shriveled to think that he’d become it around someone he actually cared somewhat for.
His thoughts attempted to comprehend what hat happened, and the muddled foggy memories of what he’d done. The beast had eventually found it’s way back down those same halls, likely seeking out Agent Harper once more, but the last vestiges of it’s energy were wasted just to enter a side room. The sounds of groans and rasping cries mingled with the creaking of bones and sinew shifting and moving back into their original places. Surprisingly he was conscious after returning to his human form, not something that happens often.
The shaking stole over his entire form as he curled up into a ball there on the floor a soft rasping moan leaving his lips as his eyes were shut tight “Gott, bitt... shtop...” he’d murmur trying to regain control, but the chill and pain held his form cruelly. He thought he could hear someone coming his way, to see the mess he’d become, he couldn’t remain right here, but he barely had the energy to move. Yet he forced himself, clawing his way to a corner leaving a blood trail of what had covered him as the tell-tale of where he’d crawled to. His mind so close to giving way to unconsciousness... but not yet... it could be a threat... so tired, but he wasn’t alone... not yet.
