Joe was born in his home server of Tennessee as a pure-breaded human. His life was easy going growing up - however, he always felt saddened for the hybrids being ridiculed and treated inhumane just for looking and acting differently. He always wondered how a hybrids life was and how it differed from his usual lifestyle. He was mocked for thinking that way and due to this, stayed in his home working on projects - never leaving unless it was for food.
And then, one day came, where his life changed for the worse. He was getting frequent muscle pains whenever he moved his wrists - and so, he visited the local in the server to check it out. He was then diagnosed with a severe illness that traveled through bone marrow and ultimately rotting it from the inside to reach the blood cells. He was informed by his doctor that he would not live long, and to make do with the time he had remaining. Sadly, he had not idea what information was being given to him by the doctor… was false.
For the last couple of months, Joe was devastated and panicked. He was scared to even leave his bedroom. The idea of suddenly dropping dead on the spot was terrifying for him. However, he got a notification on his computer. An add for volunteers to test out a new procedure to increase life expectancy and remove all illnesses. The perfect solution to his problem. He signed up and was immediately sent an address to the lab for testing. This is where his life as a human was about to end.
After tests after tests he was confirmed by a doctor that he was eligible for the procedure and would begin the next day. However, a woman entered the room Joe was staying in during the tests - however, she was neither human nor a hybrid. She called herself - Cleo - she informed him of the malpractice they did and how she was a human back in the day, however died due to an illness - the doctors brought her back just to be proof that people can be brought back to life. She informed Joe of how they brainstorm ideas to “better the society” when in actuality, they are given impossible tasks and make money on making it possible. She then ran away when the nurses who would bring him to his procedure enter his room. With the information that was hidden from him now revealed, he had to run away. He was unsuccessful and was then experimented on and awakened the very next day with a different form. He was a muppet.
For weeks after he was held in solitary confinement. Trying to itch away the muppet like skin from his body. However, you can really harm yourself if all for fingers and joined together with only a possible thumb to help pick stuff up. But nobody said he couldn’t use the metal pole imbedded into his hands. He was then restrained by personnel and placed on strict surveillance. It was only years later did he escape the facility and stayed hidden for those years. He found an abandoned server and made a home for himself. It was then that society decided that every player in the world of Minecraft would be given their own sever/home after reaching the legal age on adulthood in their homeserver. That abandoned server would become Joe Hills private server.
During his time in his new private server that he discovered a rusted and busted up Chat. Room. Assistant. Bot - better known as C.R.A.B. He was able to fix it up and started working on a channel for himself to get an income and keep his private server running. During this time he found Cleo again and became friends. Years later in the year of 2012 he was invited to join the sever Hermitcraft. The server of new beginnings where players of all kinds could join. He felt home. He felt even more like home when after the first year of Hermitcraft - ZombieCelo - was officially announced as the new member of Hermitcraft.
After all his struggles and trauma - he is glad he has so many friends and someone who understands his pain. He may appear different, but he’s still the chaotic Joe Hills from the sever of Tennessee.

> Joe’s wrist pain was just him having cramped up wrists from overwork.
> Not all Hermit knows of Joe’s origins. These are the following who he knows/believes don’t know: Joel , Skizz , Scar , Grian , and Gem. Here are the reasons: Joel and Skizz are new so he doesn’t know them very well, Scar doesn’t know because he loves how Scar loves his muppet form and he doesn’t want to ruin that for him, Joe thinks Grian doesn’t know but he actually does, and Gem because she is just a kid in his eyes and does want to scare her.
> Cleo is Joe’s closest and best friend in his eyes.
> He has frequent nightmares about the doctors who operated on him and has grown a habit on picking at his head because that’s where his hair used to be.
> He has a human head inside his muppet head.
> He is able to catch on fire due to the small fur practicals littered around his body.
> He has no stomach or tongue - so he doesn’t need to eat and whatever drink and/or food he does have, he cannot taste.
> He still has the metal poles in his hands and cannot remove them.
NOTE: I watched a couple of Joe Hills videos as well as done research on the Hermitcraft Wiki - if I got any timestamps wrong please either ignore them or inform me and I can change them :)
