Shidu Personal Q&A 30 - from Spoon 2Di, issue 57

Q1: Please tell us your name.

It’s Shidu.

Q2: When is your birthday?

September 4.

Q3: Blood type?

It’s B!

Q4: What is your special skill?

Levelling up.

Q5: What kind of personality do you have?

I’m optimistic.

Q6: What kind of food do you like?

Yukhoe, and lately, kimukarudon (donburi with a mix of beef ribs and kimchi) from the Matsuya department store and mouko tanmen cup ramen.

Q7: What food do you dislike?

Mayonnaise, raw tomato, raw onion and fried liver. I can’t eat raw things.

Q8: What colours do you like?

Yellow-green. Also slightly saturated light blue.

Q9: What movies do you like?

Recently I saw ‘Crows Zero’ and ‘Crows Zero 2’ which were interesting. Something I’ve liked for a long time is the horror film ‘Kairo’.

Q10: What anime do you like?

I’ve probably rewatched ‘World Destruction: Sekai Bokumetsu no Rokunin’ the most.

Kano’s “You”

I just realized something. You know in MCA when Kido got hit across the room by Kuroha? Momo may have called out to her first, but Kano’s reaction was the biggest, I think. Not only did he rushed to Kuroha for hurting Kido, but he also screamed “omae (you)”. Kano always used “kimi” for “you” when he addresses to others, and it is a very friendly term to friends, but he also used it on Hibiya even thought they only know each other for an hour, more or less. “Omae”, however, is more disrespectful, informal even. Kano may be teasing but doesn’t use rude or less disrespectful words to people, but he did use it on Kuroha when he hurt Kido.

He also used “omae” as well after Ayano died after she confronted the wide-awakening snake in Kenjirou; but in the last episode, it was more like Kano was ready to tear the psycho killing snake for hurting someone he cared about again. Lost Ayano once, and not going to let him going to hurt Kido as well, whom he cared about. I mean, he even cried out when Kido got stabbed by Kuroha in Outer Science, no?
