long shot bc i remember very few details but this has been bugging me for a while: i feel like i read a fic once where five was having a Bad Time (maybe a breakdown of some kind?) and he v*mited and then, like, reached for it because his instinct was to get those calories back by any means necessary? am i making this up completely? i remember it being rly devastating

Hello, I have been trying sooooo hard to try and find this Klaus-centric fic. Basically, Vanya and Five both die and Klaus has to deal with their ghosts' along with Ben's. Five tries to get Klaus to stop the apocalypse, but Klaus eventually causes it in during a mental breakdown. It was AO3 for sure. Please let me know if you have any idea what this fic is, this has been killing me! Thank you!

hi there! do you think you could help me find this fic? it's a oneshot within a series, and i can't really remember anything plot-wise except that it was written in the perspective of grace, with lots of data and percentages to make her feel more robotic, and it's about her perspective of young klaus?

Hi @gallifreyclaras ! Man, I need to get back into reading TUA fic.

BUT I think it’s one of these two fics. And if not, let me know and I’ll do some searching.

First up we have do androids dream of electric sheep?, which technically is part of a series even if there are no other fics. Definitely is Klaus-centric, lots of talk on Grace being an android… but I don’t quite think this is the fic you’re thinking of.

My other option is house of spirits and martyrs by the amazing hujwernoo and a one-shot, part of a (amazing!) series, and very focused on data. I really think this is the fic you’re thinking of.

But, readers, any other thoughts or suggestions?

hi! i’m looking for a longish fic that started pre series where klaus and vanya lived together and diego hung out with them a lot and they were close by the start of the series. all i remember is they showed up to the funeral together and the other siblings were confused, and klaus had tarot cards but cards that don’t exist in a tarot deck would show up to predict things? thanks sm in advance if you know the one i mean!

This hiatus is a bitch, ain’t it? It’s only going to get worse before it gets better folks, we haven’t even gotten our lousy S3 announcement yet.

Just be glad this ain’t a BBC1 series - *ba-dum tsh*.

So, we need a content drive, don’t we? Something to really get the juices flowing that will keep us warm and fed at least until s3 production begins.

This is a fandom-wide and super inclusive fandom-bang-type event! If you’ve been in the TUA fandom for more than an hour, you know how difficult it can be to find a place to fit in - it can be… challenging, to say the least. This event is about bringing us all together, and sharing the content that binds us! You will be welcome to participate in this event regardless of your favourite characters or ships, or lack thereof.

 For those unfamiliar, a modern-day fandom Big Bang is a type of creative challenge that brings artists and writers together, usually with a theme and allocated amount of time to create a piece of work to showcase, come the deadline.

To properly celebrate the end of 2020, and the growth of our wonderful fan-community, the theme will be 100 prompts to end the year. Each eligible participant will receive a two-word prompt of some kind to incorporate into their entry!

Klaus’s struggle with his body is evident in this fic, and it’s oh-so-sad. Klaus hides it from everyone because he can’t really handle anyone knowing, and the hating his body part really hits home with a lot of people, which makes it all the more powerful.

Or, after a lifetime of sleeping with guys just to get off the streets for the night, Klaus has a bad understanding of consent. Dave isn't okay with that.

This one I had a hard time reading without choking up; it shines light on Klaus’s tough past and what he had to do to get by. I loved how understanding Dave was after he had time to think and the scene when Klaus got comforted, I have to admit, I did cry. (I have a bad habit of reading sad fanfictions. Ehhh? Get it?)

Who You Gonna Call..? by  lesbuchanan (On tumblr @lesbuchanan ) Work in Progress Rating: T Words: 9k+ Summary: At the ripe old age of 25, Diego is still struggling with that age-old problem of balancing work and pleasure. Especially when, for him, work is being a desk-bound police detective, and pleasure is running around back alleys as a masked vigilante. Lucky for him, he may have just stumbled on the perfect unsolvable case that will finally have him taking his career seriously. Unlucky for him, the only hope he has of cracking said unsolvable case lies with his drug riddled, party going, fashion innovator of a brother.

So, between this story and Bad Stuff in a Bad Place -- I just want ALL the Buddy-Cop stories of Klaus and Diego. 

This is a pre-series fic, as the tin says. If you’ve been following lesbuchanan at all, you probably know they were working on a Buddy-Cop fic featuring Klaus & Diego, if you didn’t know, now you know. 

This story is lovely and for only having one chapter posted, so long! 

The Klaus/Deigo (no incest) sibling dynamic is great. I love their interactions! The dialogue feels real and the pacing is great. The bit where Klaus stumbles upon Diego in his domina mask is GOLD. 

While it’s not explicitly stated (unless I missed it) similar to other stories featuring Klaus, it appears Diego doesn’t believe or realize that Klaus sees Ben. The author has some nice nods to this sprinkled throughout the story letting the reader in on the secret. 

One of my favorite scenes:

“Who raised you?” Klaus shoved his sleeves up to his elbows and started filling the sink up while Diego watched. “I mean I’m just trying to understand you here, Diego, because you spent more time with mom than any of us. And yet ,” He glanced around the apartment and screwed his nose up, “you live like this . I spent one afternoon with mom and now I make homemade pasta. So what the hell did you do with her all day?” 

The first chapter ends on a cliffhanger and leaves you wanting more. Here’s hoping that the author plans on continuing. If you want sneak peeks of what’s to come, give them a follow: @lesbuchanan

Your Body is Yours by Marmarhargreeves Rating: General  Complete Words: 1800~ Summary: Diego has a good body. Except for when it really, really wasn’t. He finds solace in the right places.

So this one literally made me cry; I love the idea of Diego being trans and him struggling with himself. Diego getting the comfort he needs from his siblings is really the focal point of this piece. He gets the support he deserves and that made me super happy.

Allison stares at him, a numb feeling beginning to spread through her. “Luther- Luther, what did Dad say to you?”

Luther hesitates for a second, then shakes his head. “He said we need to think of the team,” he says, cold and heavy as old steel. “All of us. We can’t afford dead weight. If he wants to be part of the team, he’ll start acting like it.”

Allison chokes on that, words sticking in her throat like broken glass. “Luther,” she says, the name stranger on her lips now than it was seven years ago when she first tried using it, “there is no team. It’s just us.”

(Ben dies, and Allison watches her family fall apart around her).

This is a nice exploratory fic on how the team fell apart after Ben’s death. I don’t see a lot of fics that explore Allison and Klaus’ relationship, and while this one *just* touched on it, I really appreciated it. 

I really am appreciating Allison’s character and her struggle more and more, and this fic further cements that. The use of her powers in this fic guts you.

"run (because you know you cannot hide)" by e_va is a current wip that is one of my absolute favorites, it's a post-averted-apocalypse where someone from the commission tries to get to five by kidnapping the rest of the siblings to lure him in -- PERFECT characterization, absolutely spot on, technically perfect writing imo, and with an action-y angst-y and funny plot too, it really reads like a plot that could actually happen on screen ❤ found here: (ao3)/works/18174473/chapters/42984875
