Send me "Trick-or-Treat!" in my ask box and I'll tell you what we should dress up as for Halloween
Uh.....hey kid, I dunno why ya like this guy, but he's gonna be in Stella next Month, so.....I dunno, ya want a ticket to shake his flimsy, clammy hand 'er somethin'?
The Prince and the Pauper (Logan and Dallas)
Candy wrapped her little paws around Loganâs hand, biting playfully and kicking at his arms with her large back feet. She yipped and chirped and whipped her tail about excitedly. When the Sylveon approached her, she bounced up and sniffed the pokemon, trilling in excitement and running in circles around the older version of herself. Candy lunged playfully, head butting at Johnny and darting between his legs.
However, when Eevee caught sight of her master, she squeaked happily and tore off towards him. Dallas fell to his knees, sobbing hysterically and hugging his pokemon tightly. âCandy! I was so worried! Donât you do that to me ever again little girl! That was very bad! Oh Iâm so glad youâre alright!â Candy simply licked his cheek, trilling quickly before wiggling out of his grip again and bounding back to the fairy prince.
The Houndoom bolted forward, hackles raised, growling and snapping at Logan. He stood over Candy, protectively refusing to move. Franie opened his jaws, a swirl of gold and scarlet beginning to glow from his throat. Before the dog could launch the jet of flames, Dallas was on him, holding his jaws shut.
"WHOA! Whoa there boy! Heâs not an enemy. He found Candy, he didnât steal her."
The biker spent a few more minutes stroking the demonâs head, calming him down before facing the pink haired man. âI canât thank you enough man. Theres gotta be some way I can repay you.â Tears began to well in Dallasâs eyes once more. âI-I donât know wh-what Iâd d-do without her!â He sniffled and rubbed at his eyes.Â
Everything was happening so suddenly that all Logan could do was stare slackjawed. First, this hyperactive Eevee runs out of left field, followed by this voracious and not to mention VIOLENT Houndoom, and then the glassy-eyed Greaser blubbering over them both. What.... Logan couldn't process it at all. It was as if he were the special surprise guest on an episode of Poke-PUNKED or something. Getting back onto his feet, the fairy-haired trainer gave a hard frown.
"You need to watch your Pokemon more closely, ya know," he said sternly, narrowly avoiding pointing a finger at the man for further emphasis, "First the little Eevee's off like a shot, and then ya got THIS guy nearly BROILIN' me! Get a lid on yer babies- take yer job seriously for Arceus--"
It took Logan a few seconds to register the pitiful blubbering coming from the devastated vagabond. This wasn't just a little emotional simpering; he was full-on bawling over the whole thing. Maybe the fairy was being too hard on him...after all, Logan was certainly no stranger to overreacting over his "babies", either.Â
"Hey....hey, I'm---sorry, ok? I didn't mean anythin' like....I know I'd be outta my mind, too, if one 'a my Pokemon ran off like that."Â Not that they WOULD, he thought to himself, taking a few steps toward the whimpering greaser. "She's fine, she's all safe."
A little awkwardly, Logan ran a hand over the back of his neck and glanced over the handsome stranger with his baby blues. He wasn't bad looking....young, too. Built, even. But what was a guy of his salts doing in Stella?
"....my name's Logan," he said a little gruffly, stretching his bent arm and slipping the other into his pocket. "This here's Johnnycake."
The Prince and the Pauper (Logan and Dallas)
It was a warm Autumn morning when Dallas arrived in Stella. Not exactly something he was prepared for to be honest. Most of the places the biker had been to would have been experiencing the switch from Summer sweat to Autumn sweaters. Maybe the western city hadnât gotten them memo. âAlright everybody! Off the bike! Weâre here.â Dallas pulled his helmet from his head and let his nest of black hair fall loose and long. He slid a hand through his fringe, smoothing back the mess of waves. Of course, just like always, his rings became caught on the strands and he jerked a few out. âAh damnâŚShould probably stop doing that.â Frankie barked in agreement. Candy on the other hand, decided that sitting around on the bike was getting rather boring. With a yip of excitement, she jumped out of her basket and took off down the street. The man jumped up and got caught on his own feet, tumbling to the ground. âCANDY NO!â
By the time Dallas was back on his feet, the eevee was gone. âOh Arceus noâŚ.â He paled quickly and felt tears well up behind his eyes. Candy was his baby, his darling precious angel, and now she was lost in this big unknown city by herself. If only he had a way of tracking herâŚ.Wait a secondâŚof course he did! âFrankie! Frankie! Sniff her out boy! Come on! Weâve got to find her!â
The little fox pokemon darted through the legs of humans and other pokemon alike, tearing through the city. She chirped and squeaked happily, spinning around, rushing and jumping around, before finally crashing into the legs of a large, burly, beautiful man.
Ahhh. Finally, Autumn. The summer heat was beginning to dissipate in Stella, and the air was beginning to cool down, if even just a little bit. Because of the region, Stella always stayed reasonably warm, but for a native like Logan, the change was noticeable, and definitely welcome. The fairy-haired leader walked with clicking heels down the street, accompanied by his faithful companion Johnnycake. The Sylveon stepped quickly and quietly to keep pace with the long strides of his trainer, but didn't seem to mind.
"Woo, it sure is coolin' off, huh Johnnycake?" Logan said with a smile, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his tight, white jeans. "Might even need to bust out the sweaters soon! I'been knittin' up a cute little pink one for ya- I think you'll like it."
Johnny practically rolled his eyes. He had more than enough sweaters, most of which were pink, but there was no stopping big mama Logan when it came to pampering his babies. Before he could give a noncommittal "Vee...", the fox's ears perked up. He could smell something very familiar coming in their direction. Logan's eyes brightened up as the two stopped walking. "Huh? Somethin' up, Johnnycake?"
It was only then that a tiny Eevee  rounded the corner and bonked right into Logan's planted leg, bouncing back and curling up slightly. Within a second, Johnnycake was by her side, examining her with nervous enthusiasm. "Woah!" Logan yelped, taking a step back and trying not to accidentally kick or step on the little Pokemon. Was this Eevee wild? The fairy-headed Prince knelt down and scratched her head gently, looking for a collar.Â
"Hey there, cutie. What are you doin' all by yerself? Doesn't your owner have any sense?" Candy yipped gleefully and nuzzled up to him, gently licking his fingers. The pure cuteness of it made Logan's eyes threaten to well up. Who the hell just let such a sweet little Pokemon run around like this!? What if she got run over!? Was she abandoned!?
Logan and Johnnycake immediately both started to nervously pet and whine over the little Eevee, suddenly at a total loss for what to do. It was only then that a loud howl sounded, and suddenly, a tall, scrappy man in a leather jacket burst into the clearing, black hair coiled against his face, eyes brimming with tears. At his side was a furious Houndoom.
Mix It Up || (( Logan & Beaumont ))
For the first time in a long time, maybe even the first time in forever, Beau was grateful for his monstrous height. He wasnât all that fast but his extra long legs gave him the advantage he needed. Especially what with this cotton candy do-gooder hot on his heels. See, he just had no intentions of landing himself a cell here. Even if they were posh and luxurious with steady meals. Maybe he was just stupid, but he had a soft spot for freedom.Â
He kept running, and running, and running for what felt like forever. It was probably only a couple minutes, but damn, he was not built for anything more than sprinting short distances. Okay. He was big, probably easily spotted, but he was practically leaping and lunging with each step he took. He had to be far enough ahead that he could just stop, right? Logan might have been fast, but he didnât have that extra height that he did. With a tired smirk and a heavy huff, Beau threw a look over his shoulder, expecting (and hoping) to not see a pink pompadourâd pompous.
There were people in the way, but he figured that a blinding spot of pink would be hard to miss in the crowd. With a decisive huff, he rounded a corner and slowed to a stop, pressing his back against the wall. It was only now that he realized how hard his heart was hammering inside his chest and how tight his chest squeezed his lungs for air. He rolled his head back upon his shoulders, taking deep and steady breaths to calm himself and his body.
Logan kept on running, the heels of his shoes practically wearing down to the tongue but he couldn't just stop! This guy had taken some poor man's Pokemon- and worse, Logan had basically helped him do it! "Oh crap oh crap oh crap oooh crap oh CRAP!" Huffing and wheezing and basically being left in the dust, Logan fired on, albeit more slowly than before. "Y-You big....(pant)...dumb....(wheeze)....JERK...(pant)...get back here!"
No good. The fairy had lost sight of the criminal in the crowd. His mind raced in panic- he had to keep looking, even if it meant wearing out his soles or collapsing from exhaustion. This was a matter of justice- maybe even a matter of pride! But what could he do- he wasn't as big as the other guy, and he wasn't as fast. With an angry groan, Logan released Johnnycake from his ball and shouted an almost incomprehensible string of instructions that sounded like "BIG GUY RED HAIR GO FIND". The Sylveon nodded in an adorable way that usually would have made Logan's heart melt, and sprung off like a bullet. That little foxy baby could probably sniff him out, at least, and his little legs would carry him way farther than the leader's could.Â
"Ahhh....hah.....Johnny.....damn, I gotta work on my cardio more." Logan wiped some sweat off of his forehead and broke back into a hasty jog. After all, he might have been down, but he wasn't out! Johnny would be sure to find him and hold him at bay until Logan could catch up. Unless.....oh shit. "AH SHIT! JOHNNY, WAIT!" Of all the blunders to make as a trainer, sending your Pokemon after a Pokemon thief seemed among the worst ideas in retrospect.Â

Is this seat taken? || [ Logan & Abel ]
Usually no one attempted conversation with the young leader, so when Abel heard a distant grumbling by his ear, he snapped awake with a start. And a snort, but he was hoping no one heard that. Please, no one hear that. The teenagerâs life was already embarrassing as is, please Arceus, have mercy. He wiped his mouth on his sleeve to wipe away his drool before anyone noticed, and turned to this mysterious, pink-haired mass of muscles. He raised an eyebrow slowly.
"âŚSorry, what?"  He hadnât actually heard him, just the distant grumbling that stirred him awake, but it clicked soon after he asked and he cursed softly to himself, and he hastily gathered up his hoodie and his bag and set them on his lap. He didnât really want anyone to sit next to him, not normally but especially not when he smelled like stale sweat and sterilizer, but it just felt wrong to deny someone a seat. Even someone as bright as he was â as bright and as buff. Damn, was he buff. If he didnât give him the seat, he had no doubt that this guy could easily pick him up and throw him into the aisle. Or, you know, not waste the time and just kick his ass. He looked him over quickly, staring at those bulging muscles that could easily break him, and swallowed slowly. "âŚYeah, here." He gestured toward the seat, then scooted further down the bench, pressing himself up against the wall.Â
Logan had been waiting somewhat awkwardly, hunched forward, legs trembling a bit and practically screaming as he stared with as little intensity as he could muster at the sleeping boy. He hoped it wasn't too much...well, he didn't jump out of his seat, at least. With a bit of a grumble, the boy asked for clarification. The fairy's lungs were aching from the workout, but he cleared his throat as best he could. For some reason, the kid looked....familiar. Unusual, sure, but there was something about him that Logan felt he could place. Maybe he'd seen him earlier in the day and subconsciously made a mental note? He definitely wasn't the subtle type, not that Logan could make much comment on that. Well, that was ONE way to dye your hair...
As Logan attempted to repeat himself, he could see the trainer squirm in his seat. He seemed uncomfortable, even for someone who'd just been woken up. With an inner grimace, Logan realized that this was the third time he'd become acquainted with someone by waking them up from a nap. Damn. Hopefully, this wasn't becoming his MO. Last time, it ended pretty horribly. The seated guy glanced over the fairy's muscles quickly, and gave a look Logan was all too familiar with. Augh- yeah, he'd been to intense. Nervously, the fairy prince tried to reassure the boy that he was just tired and looking for a place to sit- he wasn't going to start Hulk smashing or anything, but he was already moving his things in resignation, so the cotton-candy-headed beefcake nodded and sat down, almost collapsing into his seat.Â
"Th-Thank you." Instantly, Logan's thighs went numb, practically singing in joy- at last, rest! He even let out a tiny sigh of relief. It'd be nice to sit for a while- he didn't really even know where this bus was going. Hopefully it'd pass the hotel, or at least nearby it. Otherwise, it'd mean even more walking. With a slight turn of his head, the Stellan noticed his seat-mate acquainting himself with the wall beside them. It was sort of unusual- like watching a Meowth try to fit itself into a box that's too small for it. Logan smiled a little and gestured to the sprawling night outside.
"I had no idea there were so many hills here..."Â
Oops. What a totally awkward comment to make to someone who was obviously so adamant about not talking to you. Shit, he thought, trying to fix this potentially uncomfortable situation. Yeah, he had felt a little bad waking the kid up from his sleep- maybe he'd had a trying day and just wanted some alone time, but now he'd already opened his big mouth and it was too late and too weird to just leave it there, and Oh God, what was he supposed to do? The ringer in Logan's mind started going haywire- his leg trembled, his palms sweat, his heart thudded heavily in his chest. When he got into a mood like this, it was almost impossible to stop him. Logan coughed a little louder than he'd wanted to, making the majority of the bus jump, and he clutched his knees.Â
"Uh, d-do you know the gym leader of this city? Is he gone or something? The gym was dark when I passed it..."
Good, good! This was normal conversation! People said things like this, right? Right!?
Event Special! - Float like a Frillish - [Logan & Brenda]
"Oh wooooow." She raised her brows. Stella was a ways away. "You sure came a long way, huh? Trying to escape the heat?" It was all over the news how the mainland had been swept up in an awful heat wave, and thankfully the mild weather in Meria had remained mostly untouched. It was warmer than usual, but surely a rain cloud would pass over soon and hide the sun for a few minutes while it drenched the area. The worst part about it was the humidity, but most everyone was just going to get in the ocean anyways, so the heat was easily beat here.
"Yeah, Iâve been here my whole life. Itâs beautiful." She looked up at the sky and sure enough, there was the looming rain cloud. "Oh, looks like weâre gonna get wet! Or, well, wetter. Itâs gonna rain." She pointed at the cloud.
"Yeah, it's a ways off, but it was just so hot...besides, I'd never been here before." The fairy-head spoke plainly, his reservations having already been dashed on the rocks by his earlier blunder. "It doesn't seem like the weather is too bad here, though." Logan did his best to help propel the board farther by kicking underwater. Due to his impressive strength and athleticism, it was actually manageable to have both parties supported, despite how off-balance Logan was.Â
Brenda's words resonated with Logan. In a way, they were kind of similar. Besides the obvious tan skin and amazing hair, they'd both never left their home cities before. It was sort of nice to talk to someone like that, even if the circumstances were pretty farfetched.Â
"Rain? Really?" Logan said calmly, looking up at the previously azure sky. "This time of year? Can't be...." He blushed, looking back at the water's surface, "Well, uh, I guess you'd know more about it than me, though..."
It's not like...y'know, I care or whatever... but just ship me.
Oh, uh, s-sure. Not like I had a big list for you or anythingâŚ
Tova obviously comes to mind. Sheâs sortaâŚ.small. AndâŚI dunno, sheâs a nice girl, alight? She could make you pretty happy. Thereâs also Nia, since you obviously donât mind crazy hair colors (not that Iâm one to be talkinâ), Sheâs a cool girl, very relaxed and fun. Iâd say she digs ok. Thereâs also that guy Dallas; dumb as a box of hammers but heâs got that âbad-boyâ thing going on if youâre into that. Iâm notâŚ.>://(

Unattainable - Little Joy
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tsfkcLFvgXs
The beach was glimmering this evening, just as it had every day since Logan had come to Meria. Heâd never seen such deep blue water, such crystalline sparkles from the glassy horizon back home. The beach was something to be walked over, photographed in front of, but not really looked at. This was totally different. Even though he had only planned on spending a day or two in the city, the fairy prince had found himself finishing up a whole week just staring at the water with the girl whoâd saved his life. Brenda sat beside him on the shore with a complacent smile. She was used to this, of course, but Logan always found himself surprised by just how dazzling it was.
"Itâs reallyâŚ.itâs incredible," he said softly, not tearing his eyes away for a moment. "I can see how people would be drawn to this place. Thereâs nothing like it in this region, I can say that for sure."
Brenda gave a soft smile and sat forward, her damp hair resting against her toned shoulders. âI know. Thereâs a whole other world out there, but I could never call anywhere else home like I do this view.â
Logan paused to think this over. Did he think of Stella as home? Sure, of course, but over the years, heâd strayed away from the grit of what the name âStellaâ meant to him. Everyone was so superficial, so self-absorbed, so disoriented with the historyâŚit was a shame. Hardly any natural beauty remained in the neon city at all, and even less people who sought it out.Â
"I think I understand what you mean. Being able to come down here every day and just be a part of the cityâŚitâs kind of amazing."
Brenda shook her head slightly, âNot just the city. The world itself! The ocean is incredible, but Meria canât take all the credit for it. It was here far before our little city was. We just appreciate it, thatâs all.â
Logan pondered this for a long time, his eyes never waning from the cleft of sunlight falling behind the water. At first, he didnât even notice the girl pick up her ukulele and start to gently strum. Something about her song was just so peaceful. A little somber, a little wistful, but ultimately, a beautiful way to finish off another beautiful day. In a way, he wondered if Brenda ever felt like leaving. He found it difficult to imagine walking away from all of this natural beauty, all of this water, but in some ways, maybe other people thought the same way about the bright lights of Stella. Maybe the wistfulness they all felt was because they were looking for something else, something new they had never felt or seen before. YesâŚLogan could relate to that thought. Something heâd never felt beforeâŚ.
"If only songs were sung to guide the doubtful one beyond the rough, where not much is good enough."
Logan layed back quietly, letting her gentle strums wash over him.
"If you find yourself amongst the lonely ones, I will be waiting here with open arms. I canât coerce you into this one. Jealousy, lay all your spells to bed. Iâll choose âunlovedâ instead."
Logan had closed his eyes as the song finished. His baby blues batted open after a few moments of silence, and he sat up, looking at her with unkempt coils of bubblegum pink hanging in his face.
"Did you write that?"
Brenda took a moment to quietly sigh before smiling over.Â
"Yeah. A while ago."
The splashing of the waves on the seashore filled the gaps in their words. The tan pair merely looked at each other for a few long moments before they turned their eyes back to the water. He didnât know who that song had been written for, if anyone at all, but it spoke to him in more than just one way. An unattainable goal, a secret, feeling like youâve lost yourself, and choosing to be unloved.
Yes, Logan could relate to those thoughts. Deep down, despite the silence, he was a little glad someone else could relate to them, too.Â
eyyyy yo ship me - Nash
You? I, uh, I guess I don't know you that well. I know Tova seems to like you a lot. She's a sweet girl- I don't wanna see you hurtin' her feelings! But you seem like the kinda guy who needs someone to challenge you on some level- that viper chick Effie comes to mind, but I'd watch out for that one if I were you...
ooooh ooh ship me? (: i'm curious!
Uh, y-you? Uh....w-well, I know you like that Newt guy, but aint' he taken? I think a girl like you needs someone who can sweep her off 'er feet. Maybe that Dallas guy? He seems pretty tuff. N-Not that I aint' tough! >://(

Is this seat taken? || [ Logan & Abel ]
These shoes may have been made for walking, but Abel had no intentions of using them for their purpose after a day like today. With a heavy sigh, Abel let his head roll back, bumping lightly against the subway carâs window. What a long and exhausting day. In the morning, he checked in at his gym for a few hours. He did battle, he lost, and he called it a day and jammed over to the Pokemon Center for a shift. Or, you know, two shifts. He lost track of time often when he was working, but he just couldnât help himself. You get so caught up in what youâre doing and before you know it, six or so hours have passed.
He regretted it now, but only a little bit. The throbbing and aching of his feet just signified a job well done, right? Heâd helped a lot of people and a lot of Pokemon. Nurse Joy was proud of him. So all in all, it was a very good day.Â
But all good things must end and it was time to go home, but there was no way in hell he was going to trek all that way up one of Bayviewâs stupidly steep hills just to get there. Walking was out. Isaac was still at work, so getting picked up was out. All that was left was public transit, which he didnât particularly like, but it was there and it definitely beat putting in some effort. It wasnât that long of a ride anywayâŚ
The slight rock and sway of the subway car speeding along was oddly comforting, and his eyelids felt heavy. So, so heavyâŚ
Maybe just a couple minutes⌠It couldnât hurt.Â
Slowly, he let his eyes close and the world around him quickly fell away as he started to nod offâŚ
Logan had been waiting for a cab for over an hour at this point. It was late at night and lots of people were heading out or in or anywhere and basically snatching up every free cab. Either that or the cabbies were too intimidated by him to stop and give him a ride. The fairy prince growled to himself at the thought of that; how judgmental! Maybe if they put half as much time and care into their own hair or clothes or body....well, there was no use in thinking about it now. There wasn't much he could complain about since he's the one who opted out of taking a private Stella car with him. Besides, Logan was beat from all the walking. Nobody had told him just how many damn hills there were in this city. At first, the leader had been pumped to do some high resistance climbing back to his hotel. After all, he was never a stranger to a workout or two. Or ten. But these hills....damn if he wasn't feeling a major burn in his quads. He was barely able to keep standing at this point. Shit, I need to come to Bayview more often, I guess.Â
Logan had been coming to the city to try and meet the gym leader. They'd never officially spoken, and Tova always had something to say about him, so why not go and pay a visit? The trouble was that the gym had been closed and empty when the fairy prince stopped by. It was a shame, really. At least he got a good workout. And a crepe. Overall, it was a beautiful city, too, even if the cabbies were judgmental pricks.Â
At that thought, Logan noticed a bus rolling toward him. With a jolt, he waved an arm and walked toward it (how did you get on a bus, anyway?). The bus driver pulled over with a kindly smile and Logan heaved himself on, his hair coming undone and hanging over one eye. "Uh, thank you," he said as politely as his deep voice could convey, putting in a little too much money for the fare before walking back to find himself a seat. Unfortunately, it seemed like the other passengers had the same idea as him in terms of those hills. There was hardly a seat to be found! With a little groan, Logan felt his calves reigniting in fire and he glanced around desperately for any sort of seat. Luckily, there were no little old ladies or elderly men or women with babies standing, so he could feel alright taking a seat, too, if he could find one. Finally, he spotted one lone empty seat next to a dozing teenage boy and before he could talk himself out of it, the fairy had sprung over and was leaning over him. He didn't want to awaken the boy, really, but it just felt impolite to not at least ask....
"Uh....excuse me, but is this seat taken?"
C'MON, VOGUE! Closed - Oceania & Logan.
"It would never be a waste of time," she said evenly, tilting her head up as her smile broadened just the tiniest bit. "I think⌠it would be really fun to teach you how.. and it would be nice to do something else together.."
â.. Erm.. again.. that is if you want to..â
SPLASH!!
In one foul swoop, the salty water splashed her square in the face and sent her stumbling back a step or two. She didnât even have time to hear Loganâs declaration of war before the battle had begun. The sprayed aftermath clung to her bare skin and she sputtered much like how the pinkette did. .. What in Arceus?! Oh, if he thought he was going to get away with thatâŚ
"Tag, youâre it!"
The sounds of shutters going off somehow faded into the background as she giggled merrily and continued her barrage of splashes.
Logan's smile widened at the sudden battle. It seemed like the worst was over, and now, he was going to get his fun day in the sun after all. Smirking, Logan propelled another wave at the bubbly starlet, advancing toward her quickly and letting his broad hands bat at the water's clear surface in quick strikes. As she sputtered and stumbled back, though, Logan suddenly felt a pang of nervousness. Was he getting too fired up? Oh, crap, what if she yelled at him?Â
"Oh, uh, I-I--"
But before Logan's mind could catch up to him, the mermaid girl had retaliated and started flurrying water right back at him, twofold. The fairy prince sputtered and stumbled back a pace or two before he sprang right back into the fight. For a few seconds, he had been terrified of the consequences of a simple water fight, and now he was going gung-ho. And all for a photoshoot that he had long since forgotten about. Luckily, the two trainers were more than used to being photographed, so even subconsciously, they could work their angles and pose like pros. Hell, every one of their pictures could have been a cover spread (save a few misplaced blinking shots). And what's more, in an almost unprecedented way, Logan was....actually sort of having fun?
He blushed a little as the splashing fight continued. Maybe it was the heat. Maybe it was being in close proximity to someone while wearing a speedo. Maybe it was because they were in a bikini. He'd never really know for sure.Â
C'MON, VOGUE! Closed - Oceania & Logan.
Oh, she probably sounded so silly right about now! Telling him that she was going to teach him without even asking first. Never in a million years did she think herself so bold as to say something like that. As if to wash away the scarlet tinge working itâs way up from her neck, Nia took her free hand and quickly splashed herself a few times.
Onlyâ well, some of it missed her and ended up flying towards Loganâs face.Â
Logan chuckled a little bit at her reaction. It seemed like Nia was friendly enough not to take something like water levels too seriously. After all, he wouldn't let her get swept away.....well, she would probably have more luck than him staying above water. In fact, she would actually have to help him if they started getting pulled out. Shit. Logan probably wasn't pulling his own weight in the end. In fact, all lean 180 lbs. of muscle he carried were probably just looking dumb bobbing around in the water. At least he was gleaming a little bit.
"My fault, anyway. We'll just have to make sure we don't do anything dumb, like trip on a seashell or something. Er, that applies more to me, though, I guess..." Logan tried to settle himself down a little and let go of his earlier blunder. The fact that he wasn't usually very talkative or social was still in the back of his mind, let alone the fact that he didn't know how to swim. It was really tough for him to get out of his nerve-zone and relax, and dammit, this scene wasn't really helping. But before he could retreat back into his head and start pounding away on more worries, the girl offered to teach him how to swim one day after the shoot. The fairy blinked a few times, not really sure what she meant. Was she making fun of him? Immediately, his shoulders went rigid, and he had to bite back an onslaught of defensive shouting. It hadn't yet occurred to him that she could be sincere. It was so earnest and sweet that at first, the prince mistook the offer as a joke. But once she had mentioned it again, Logan felt a little more at ease.Â
"You....y'aint' gotta do somethin' like that for me," he stammered, getting a little red, "I sink like a stone; total waste 'a time." Nevertheless, he appreciated the offer. Having a mermaid girl like this try to get the toasted marshmallow to float would be almost too embarrassing to even try. He already envisioned himself scrambling and splashing, gasping for breath in water too shallow to drown in. Heck, he bet kids could even doggy-paddle better than he could. Still, her words clung to his mind. If he wasn't totally humiliated by this shoot today, maybe he would make good on it....
But then, a plume of water splashed up into his face and Logan jumped, more startled than anything. "Ack--! Pbbbft--hey, w-watch it--!" He yelled a little louder than he would have thought originally, and shielded his eyes. The camera snapped from the shore as Logan stood up straight, a determined look in his eye.Â
"Alright, you wanna play? Fine!" The fairy prince smirked and swept his broad hand over the water's surface, rocketing a small wave of water right at her.Â
C'MON, VOGUE! Closed - Oceania & Logan.
"⌠Do you like to swim?"
The question was nothing above a whisper as she neared the pinkette, another nervous smile playing at her lips as she extended a hand towards him. Nia still felt a little uncomfortable, but she was glad at least it wasnât just her that felt that way. Hopefully they would do a good enough job that the awkwardness wouldnât come through on the photographs.
"I think weâre only supposed to go up to our knees though.."
Alright, so it WAS a little bit silly how that had all turned out, but at least the ice was broken, so to speak. The two leaders may have just been colleagues who were sharing a photoshoot, but by golly, if those pictures weren't going to be cover-ready. They'd probably get a whole spread. This girl...she knew how to work angles. She definitely had a "nautical doll" look going for her- that sold really well. Paired with Logan's intensely unusual style, they could make for a big hit. And what more, she wasn't being totally snobby like most of the models he'd shot with. He was even laughing a little bit!Â
At the urging of the director, Logan got up and dusted himself off. Looks like it was time to get wet. Er...wetter. Truth be told, Logan wasn't overly fond of the ocean. Or swimming. He had no real knowledge on how to float, let alone swim, so this was unfamiliar territory, but the coast-guards stationed nearby made him feel a bit better. As the fairy prince stepped into the rushing water, he shuddered just a bit. Splashing, chasing each other, jumping around; this was going to be standard beach-day fun-time. As long as she didn't suddenly hug him, it'd be fine.Â
"I, uh....I don't know how...." It was an embarrassing thing to admit, actually, especially since Logan was usually so athletic. He was like a Jigglypuff in the water, except he wouldn't float half as well. "So don't tease me too much..." He ran a tan hand through his hair as the other took hers. She had small hands with long, thin fingers. It was weird- Logan almost wondered how it would look if he were to do this in real life. Generally, he didn't give these things much thought, but for some reason, he felt like he was going to make a spectacular fool of himself.Â
At his knees, he stopped, but realized the water was a lot higher on her, due to his height. "Oh, sorry--" the fairy stammered, a little flustered, "This is probably too deep, huh?" Despite the hushed tone, Logan felt like he was shouting at the top of his lungs. Due to his excitable nature, even a little blip in the routine could make his heart beat at a mile a minute. He could ruin the whole photoshoot if he wasn't careful, so the keyword here was "relax". "Shit, uh, we can go back---dammit."
