More rambling (as always)

To be honest from the start of being in this community, I’ve pretty much made it a habit of mine collecting illness art of these two from other makoyuma twitter artists, and I have a folder of them. Around 30+ arts. Most of my favorite artists have drawn them, but there was one more that I wanted art from. This artist on twitter draws such lovely work of these two that I wanted to see art of my ‘preferred content’ from them. I wanted it to make my collection feel complete having art from all of my top favorite makoyuma artists (no fr I have a top 5 list xD) And when they opened commissions, I sadly could not afford one. So my best friend was kind enough to get these for both of us to enjoy c: We both adore this stuff… xD We’re like partners in crime of making these two miserable for the sake of love and care 💕

So these two images are in a way, telling a story. These two are living together in these image scenarios. One morning Yuma takes longer than usual to wake up. His face is pained, breathing shallow, face flush more red than usual. Makoto feels his forehead, burning hot with fever and slightly panics. Sadly all his life living on his own, Makoto isn’t really sure what to do so his attempts to look after him are a bit clumsy. But he still does his best to look after his original roommate regardless.

Then when Yuma gets better, Makoto unfortunately catches the illness. Thankfully for him Yuma is more of an expert. And since Makoto’s never been cared for before, Yuma makes sure to treat him well. Making sure he’s comfortable, and bundled up since he easily gets chilled when ill. And Makoto though having few words, wants Yuma to stay by his side. Makoto likes being doted on deep down, even if his expression isn’t readable, Yuma knows. He can tell. He can read him like a book. He wants him to be with him 💜 (the situation kinda reminds me of this fic)

This artist tends to draw these two in more nsfw ship-like situations, but my jam with these two is more sweet/pure love and domesticity with eachother. And I really love their style so I had to have their work as part of my makoyuma illness gallery/collection ✨

It's Suiginto from Rozen Maiden. XDDD Originally, I wanted to draw Souseiseki because she and Kanaria could make a perfect twin pair setup. XDDD But I still think Suiginto's attachment to her father(Yuma ww) and sense of loneliness fits Makoto better. XDDD (Hey)
